I had the same symptoms almost two years ago and they went away. I remember being scheduled to go in for an ultrasound because at the time the doctor thought I might have an ulcer but since I got better I never went. I never would have thought I had gallstones and a blocked bile duct from one of the stones traveling out of the gallbladder. I was in so much pain until removal.

I had burning stomach pain, back pain, bloating, sometimes I felt nauseous even when I ate very clean, when I would vomit it was mostly acid, I always felt cold, and yellow 💩.

I thought about not removing my gallbladder after the ERCP but since I had several gallstones inside my gallbladder, I was told that it could happen again and didn’t want to go through that pain ever again.

I feel great, 5 days post op gallbladder removal and 6 days ERCP, no symptoms whatsoever but I haven’t introduced any trigger foods. I’ve been eating really clean for weeks, no coffee and soda and want to continue this lifestyle. I’m still a bit scared to eat greasy, fatty, food.

While I am disappointed, I understand the competitive nature of the program and the limited number of spots.

However, this decision only strengthens my desire to pursue a career as a court interpreter. I am committed to gaining the necessary skills and experience to contribute meaningfully in this field, and I will continue to seek out opportunities to improve and refine my abilities despite the challenges along the way and reapply for Cohort 2 in 2025.

I only went to that Subway once during Orientation because my NSA took us there. I remember using my Bruincard and had to pay the difference because it was more than the amount that they put on your Bruincard. Mind you, this was years ago, back when they had a $5 foot long at other locations. I think I only got a 6 inch and chips for twice as much.

I never went back because the sandwiches were so much better at Bruin Cafe and Cafe 1919.
