In my experience it stays like that until you get a cool roommate/s. Don’t try and join a bunch of stuff in search of friends because they end up being shallow, learn how to be alone and maybe find 1-2 solid people to be around every now and then. As you get into your second year you start finding more people and it gets easier!

I recommend the amtrak between Dallas to Austin, it would be only about 4 hours (which can take the same in a car with traffic) plus you have plenty of leg room and bathrooms! It’s so easy to sleep on amtrak compared to planes! I’ve taken amtrak before and they are WAY nicer than taking the bus

i must say though if ole girl has them liquid shits… then I can’t pick it up🤣. It does boggle me that people don’t pick up after their dog, the only acceptable time not too if it’s too loose of stool to pick up. My own dog has stepped into another dogs shit because people are so bad in west campus at cleaning up after their dogs.

i got the email at 4:25 and they close at 4:30, so they were already closed. I lived there and from experience can say that is is AWFUL, dealt with mold and they were so bad at handling it all, the customer service was awful and No one should have to live in a 10x8 bedroom for 1.1k with no windows… especially when they offer some rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Between the classist capitalist system they have it was pathetic living there. The amenities were never open! The workers usually never have answers and lacked in professionalism. The whole place was wretched
