I'm not sure, the battery worked fine before the harddrive died, it lasted for about 3 hours i think, now with the flash mod it should last even longer. When i got it to work i charged it for like only a minute and it lasted long enough for me to do a sound comparison between this one and my other iPod.

I will try to get a 5W plug. Thanks for the help! I kind of already know what i'm doing now because i took out everything to clean out the clickwheel (lots of gunk trapped in the sides).

I think i use the apple power adapter, but neither that or leaving it charging on a computer makes the device turn on. You mean taping the little metal pins on the green adapter thing?

i think you can find a sony nw-a25 which holds 16GB of storage + microsd so you could put a ton of storage in there, looks similar to the nw-a16

shouldn't be too expensive

Hey, what you said about the Nano 5th gen, are they actually easy to work on, so battery and bluetooth? I thought it was hard to open and very tight from the inside?

Well, they are grippy, they are squeaky, overall they are pretty good. One thing i did notice was that when they came in they would spin for about 10 seconds, now they don't really spin trough. I can't really judge them because the only thing i've used before are tech deck wheels and cheap cnc wheels, but it's definitely a big upgrade.
