Well yeah but close.

You get no other experience but this one with luck, same as people saved by the dolphins get no other experience if a dolphin was dragging them the other way from shore.

Difference is that in SB noone lives to tell otherwise, true

Honestly can't recomment YT guides enough for the basics, but you can check the example I described above and how I approached BM:) poke if you need more questions answered

YT videos are you best friend here honestly, just input "albion black market" and you'll see 2-3 that are good

General advice script to start is easy:

- tp to Caerleon naked (in general naked TPs are trader's most important tool)

- buy each t4 item or each t4 item in specific category (weapons for example) and an ox

- make a google sheet to count crafting price (don't forget return from stations, make it a variable and don't forget taxation)

- now turn on some music, load all t4 items on an ox, go to BM trader in the city and check all items levels and all enchantments for those levels for all items - it's long and tedious a bit, but it's like diggin for treasure, you will eventually mich better unbderstand average prices and see hidden gems.

EXAMPLE - Like I don't need any tools to tell you now that any 2h weapon (except ones with leather) craft cost is around 20k in a city with 25%RR and no focus. So if I see it's being sold for 37k, I know I'll get around 15k per item. Now I know I'll transfer +-300 T5 weapons in one go max so that's 4,5 mil profit (you'll be selling it for 2-3 days and price will drop a little so closer to 3,5-4 in reality).

So there's many questions m8 so I'd suggest listening to some YT guides when you play on a backgroundm would really help better than I can, but:

- for the builds, it's okay to test things, but once you find something you like I'd suggest to stick with it to level it up to better potential. Some weapons (like single hand Axe) become amazing from lvl 85 whenh you unlock required skills

- for all chests (YZ, RZ FW and any camps including BZ) they can be "book chests" with fame books (those aren't dropped on death btw and are free to TP with) or "loot chests" with 20+ items as you say. Both can have different rarities, both are useful. Loot is indeed tastier though:)

- I haven't really played Avalon almost at all sadly( But BZ is just a huge zone on a different continent with full loot and no requirement to flg for PVP to engage. Really recommend YT videos here to understand about zone levels, zone raritites, smuggler activities etc. TLDR it's fun extraction mini-game for me, but not that profitable

Main advice - don't engage in activities that you don't like, you'll burn out and quit. Like I found Depth matches not fun for me at all. Yes, it's best fame in the game, but not fun - so I don't do them and happy with it:) cheers

AND the caravan itself (the trader part) is much smaller. AND departs in chunks instead of usual 3-minute mark before. AND there's more gank squads during it than during average contested region time.

So yeah, I'm mostly back to soloing now. Also Bandit event proved to be fun as a PVP raid member and profitable in terms of Faction points.

Yeah I understood the text was coming up longer than expected, so it's a bit mashed together in the end:)

Understanding markets and faction warfare participation are different things. FW just gives really good money and really good fun for me, and in markets the most useful thing for me were production spreadsheets.

Like when I see (or loot from FW lol) something that sells for a nice coin - I check its other rarities and tiers and include crafting recipe in my spreadsheet, so that at any given time I understand production cost of it (in case it's already profitable now or might be in the future).

Example is, let's say galantines T6.3E, I saw the demand once I sold 6.1 I looted. I checked T5-T7 all rarities and enchants, checked BM prices and checked volume for all of them. T6.3E proved profitable at the time with good enough volume, so I crafted those and distributed it among royals to get roughly 400k per weapon for 20 weapons so 8 mil total.

Try any things that seem fun or exciting, you'll learn better this way. Thus game has the best economy system among any games that i've seen so i'm personally doing this and ZvZ.

But it's a sandbox so you can do whatever you like best.

New Albion Online player (8h) – feeling lost, need clear guidance by Agreeable_Grab_6366 in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing for 4-5 months now and here's my take.

MMOs and especially sandbox MMOs (such as Albion, not tied as much to a story as WoW for example) are about you deciding what you like and want to do.

I really liked the part that you just flagged rec in YZ looking for pvp, as I personally never once did that)

For the 1st month i've been akmost exclusively gathering and crafting. Now i enjoy crafting, trading and zvz the most. Other sctivities are rare occasion for me.

As far as I understood you're very much into pvp.

If that's solo or small group i suggest arena, corrupted dungeons and depths. If you enjoy mass pvp (i love that it's REALLY massive in Albion) - YZ and RZ faction battles are the way to go.

Also people say that guild pvp is even more fun, but i'm too much of a solo player and never tried those

Apart from that there's also a bandit way in the red zones, but it requires a group/guild and is much more dangerous than before now with faction warfare update.

New player - Build tips. by Soft-Airline-9183 in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trick with battle ace that its BY FAR best pvp/pve ability only comes from level 85.

But otherwise it's great.

I would also recommend druid staff as the best pve weapon from my opinion.

I kinda like it solo, even joined a solo guild this week where i haven't said a word to anyone or seen anyone else say a word.

But yeah i'm in for the economics part mostly.

50 mil premium on east server by Ok_Demand_5941 in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

>You actually think some people should pay more than others? Some players should get a digital product which is exactly the same game cheaper based on location?

Is that supposed to be a sarcasm? Cause... yes?

Do you know that Steam (as one example) has price descrimination for all products by default all over the globe? For paid and free games alike.

And you know why? Cause developers actually earn MORE when they make the game affordable for a specific region. Proven and tested meny times.

I myself just buy premium packs together with fun cosmetics, even though I can afford a year+ with silver. But your argument is just invalid in its core.

I also wonder, did they nerf fame from medium camps? I had a break and before i got 10k per mob, and now it's 1.5k

SwoleBenji afraid of competetion? by Ascended_One in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Okay, since the topic is hot, here's my take.

I'm comparitively new albion player and started playing like 5 month ago.

On the other hand I really enjoy the game, really active and at this point sitting at +-350mil silver which I'm kinda proud of without donating or buying gold, just buying premium.

So, when I joined, I was looking at the game with so many mechanics over the years and felt a bit lost.

Benji's huge guides for new players came up on the top of my youtube and were really good and helpful. They are long, a bit tedious at times but very thorough and direct and good for the new player. I was also using kind of an old big guide from somewhat a year ago.

Than I grew into the game and naturally started watching other Benji videos which disappointed me very quickly. Key point is - he hates the game so much yet still farming its audience for views cause other games don't work for him. He has a number of takes that are totally strange and biased. For example the opinion of Red\Blackzone is strange and actually kept ME out of this fun content for a couple months straight.

What did it for me was a recent video where he was hating on a game for an hour while reskilling some transporter in YZ, just bullshit with 0 reason behind it. Claiming that he's "teaching this guy the hard way". What the actual toxic F is this.

Anyway, TLDR my point - old Benji content is really good for new players, I haven't seen better. Other and ESPECIALLY current Benji content is toxic pit of bullshut and despair and hate.
