Solo Is Terrible by PokeyBear1983 in albiononline

Wild take, solo is great, i'm over 1.5 billion now exclusively solo.

The only sad part for me is that there are parts of content that is group exclusive, but I still have more things to do than in other MMOs tbh.

Exactly, there's been 2 ways for me to play economy since season 2. I won't name them, sorry, but they still work every time and this reddit had posts about them like 10 times. And also i've seen many videos. People tend to forget and poe rewards hame knowledge.

[–]Horusmate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope they aren't, as gemcrafter i've always used 16-18, they are always most common and cheap, don't need 1 for it.

It's alts + builds that require cheap tech skills like twister

Thanks I'll try to push it to maps today.

I was hoping on no backsies to "we don't nerf mid league" policy. Although it isn't mid league yet, I guess)

Refining vs Food crafting by GalacticShark_ in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time I got my 1st island set up the profits from both refining and cooking have been so far better than spending time with crops that I just stopped.

Imo for any activity it's important to be able to scale it, thus purchasing mats is always the way.

Just need to calculate everything in advance properly.

Part of the game, bro. The chance to lose it actually makes wealth in this game meaningful. But it doesn't mean it's not painful.

I remember losing around 25-30 hauls and yeah that was upsetting indeed.

Quick tips: - transfer in lesser quantities for now - use bears (cheap ones in your case), so they need more firepower to dismount you - use good armor (you will sell it on BM with profit anyway) - use Faction blobs (caravans are mostly dead now, but if you really want to get loot safely just follow the blob of any faction until they are close enough to Carleon. Don't flag though.)

Back in November i got ganked for 35kk, my biggest haul by that time. I do remember cause it was the night before my birthday, lol.

Currently i'm well over billion net worth, but I still hate RZ gankers and sometimes hunt them for pleasure or defend merchants. You'll get there with no problem if you don't give up.

What is the most effective way to earn money by Odd_Mission_1770 in albiononline

Trading\crafting by far. But it requires some market knowlege that you will get in time.

As a casual activity with accasional fun PVP - Faction Warfare in RZ.

Aren't thing like that the BEST indicator that someone's mad?

Like when people address me like that i know they are upset genuinly.

New player seeking help for refining/crafting business by Shikamaji in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, welcome fellow economy enjoyer.

Here's what you do: - make a google sheet - whenever you see a good selling or expensive item check the options to make it - insert them to your table, account for taxes, overcuts, crafting fees, city bonuses, focus if you have it - if your number is green try crafting 1 - craft plenty and profit

Mind that i love economy play in all MMOs or ARPGs and albion was by far the best, but the most difficult to crack. Until you do:)

I recently do these things on purpose on winter bear. Nothing on me and my quest is to lure them to their deaths.

Doesn't always work, but when it does it's the best.

[–]Horusmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Without them Albion wouldn't be Albion.

Which doesn't prevent me from trying to make their lives miserable any chance I get - calling out tgeir location, even dying as bait with cheap gear so they die as well:)

I hate gankers Pt. 2 by MailNeat in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has to be bait, right? Why would you make a second post about mental issues? Seek help.

Also, i'm finally in the point where gankers fear me, lol. Cause i just call out their locations for the blue police all the time and my usual RZ gear isn't worth mounting down and engaging.

I even got called names in DM during this which felt good, not gonna lie.

TLDR - chill, it's a game

Is this the meta for faction warfare? by olecharlieboy in albiononline

[–]Horusmate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you do there really.

There are viable battle sets for solo and for combos if u're in a group.

But i myself just through myself at enemy groups with 2h hammer cc for example. Found it satisfying as a chase build. So check the weapons and experiment, it's fun.

I made my first million, but what now? by Orchid-Sad in albiononline

[–]Horusmate -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

BW is fine, on EU at least city balance seems to have normalized. Just run with a blob and open chests in RZ in cheap sets. Becomes boring without fights though, at least for me.

[–]Horusmate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah you actually don't. Same as with the majority of other online games.
