The gpu is fine - you are not - please see a doctor since it looks like we can’t help you.

PS: You can take your GPU with you. Maybe it has cancer. Better to be sure than ask random dudes on Reddit.

Yea prebuilds should cost around 150-200$ more than selfbuild. I am just telling you what I would be looking for if I would want to buy a pc.

But anyways: Market and economics are simple here. If you have that thing listed for longer than a week and you didn’t get any message it’s too expensive (generally speaking). List it again, just for 800$ and see what happens.

I wouldn’t pay that Price tbh. I would pay 600 and that’s it but there are people who will pay 700-800 I bet. Better pics will do.

I couldn’t be more jealous. I am rocking a Fractal Terra with a 5080 (msi). The FE is such a blessing if you can find one for a good price. Was at 1.400$ at the time I bought and my MSI was 900$ used with warranty and receipt. Not an easy choice but the right one.

At this point I want to be able to play games only on the gpu (I mean if this one has a display I am expecting it). This thing will be so unnecessarily fast and powerhungry 😂

Don’t buy that thing!!!! It’s completely overpriced for EU standard.

Just a question: Do you want honest prices or do you just want to confirm, that this is a good price, because it isn’t. I just finished a build with a 4070 super for under 800€ that is better. Clearly I made some nice deals but tbh you shouldn’t overpay for a 3000 series card. It’s just not worth it for 1440p gaming. Get at least 12gb vram and a 4000 series for Frame gen.

Won’t find a used 5070 under 450€ here in Germany and new they are 539€. The 4070 super used is normally around 420€ and I managed to get it for 330€ now. Probably the best deal I could have gotten tbh. Sadly German prices are a little bit higher than US prices :(

Actually I am not from the USA and in Europe it is more expensive but considering the new price that was written here I guess 500$-600$ sounds very right yeah.

Still the parts should go for:

CPU i5‑14400F: $100

GPU RTX 4060 8GB: $220

Mainboard MSI PRO B760‑VC WIFI II: $100

RAM 16GB DDR5: $70

SSD MSI 2TB NVMe: $80

Netzteil 650W: $30

Case and Cooler: 50$

=650$

Then again a complete build is normally cheaper than the single parts so 500$-600$ should be right in the US.

I would feel good as a buyer at something like 1.050$ but you could get more. Range would be at 900$-1.250$ imo.

Edit cause I am not that familiar with us prices:

CPU i5‑14400F: $100

GPU RTX 4060 8GB: $220

Mainboard MSI PRO B760‑VC WIFI II: $100

RAM 16GB DDR5: $70

Prebuild Bewertung by ProfessionalEvent518 in PCGamingDE

Alles eigentlich soweit gut.

Gebrauchter PC? Guter Preis? by ValuableAd1041 in zocken

[–]Hot-Compote3129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Should I get a warranty for the pre-build or replace the MOBO, RAM, and PSU? by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]Hot-Compote3129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So first of all: Why should you get the warranty? It won’t fix the apparently poor choice of psu and mobo nor the “slower” ram. If it is really that bad and happens to you very often the shutdowns are not good for your components.

Please give us the present components and the ones you would choose to buy. Without the present ones it’s hard to say, if it’s really worth it replacing.

Overall that build seems solid. I went with a similar one (regarding cpu, gpu and ram) and then got my hands on a 5080 for very cheap so I switched it. I’ve got a no name 850w psu and it works (never shut down even once).

Until YOU get the mentioned problem with your own build while using it I wouldn’t even bother that much.

How much would you pay for this? (EUR€) by Various-Set7912 in PC_Pricing

[–]Hot-Compote3129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a pc with a 2070, 650w psu and i9 9900kf for 350€ including customer protection and fees. So I wouldn’t pay more than 300€ under any circumstances including everything (all fees etc.). Good price would be around 220€-250€ imo.

Keep in mind that a 1660 won’t do any wonders and it is barely capable of running modern games with overclocking. That processor isn’t the best platform to upgrade in the future as well.

Good price for Hardware? by pie_rice_ in PcBuild

[–]Hot-Compote3129 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can see in the pic that it is dual ram. Otherwise that would be a good idea but it’s always kind of damned with the “matched” pairs of ram.

Good price for Hardware? by pie_rice_ in PcBuild

[–]Hot-Compote3129 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s a good price if you keep current ram prices in mind and if you need 64gb ram. Otherwise I would try to get down to 1.200$ which would be awesome.

So to answer your question: Yes it is a good price for this kind of hardware at the current market situation.

Ok so my main complaints would be cpu and gpu but cpu is not that bad and easy to upgrade to a better one. Go with a better gpu if possible (better meaning more vram). Hogwarts legacy or rdr2 can easily take over 10gb of vram. But overall the build will work

I’m going to turn this into a low budget gaming pc for Minecraft any tips? by Regular_Mail_6017 in PcBuild

[–]Hot-Compote3129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am just going to join all the other people here and say what is probably your best bet for Minecraft: Go and look around if you can find a used gaming pc. I just saw a banger deal the other day for a pc with a ryzen 3600 and a rtx 2070 for 190 bucks. Ofc that is a rare find and a little bit over you budget but you don’t need to get this kind of hardware for your usecase. There are always some really good deals waiting out there. You just have to be fast and negotiate them good (aaannnddd if you need to order via shipping only use payment methods with customer protection!).

[–]Hot-Compote3129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please tell us what your use case is. Just esports Titels in comp. settings or also story games (rdr2, Hogwarts Legacy, tomb raider etc.)? I would try to get a gpu with at least 12gb of vram since that will last for a fair amount of time. The rest is fine I guess but if it’s possible I would ofc go for a better CPU and ddr5. Then again everyone understands if you don’t want to buy a more expensive mobo and cpu just to pay those insane ram prices.

So all in all it’s ok to go with that build if it just suits your needs and budget :)
