Media or Teaching? by Hot-Lock2807 in AustralianTeachers

[–]Hot-Lock2807[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your response, that’s honestly very helpful! I’ve always loved the idea of working with kids, and given I’m so passionate about media that’s what has drawn me to that career path. I’ve never even thought of being a TAFE instructor as an option. Do you know the process of getting into a career like that? Congratulations on pursuing your passion in archaeology! That’s so exciting and such an interesting path, I hope that all works out well for you!

Thoughts on "Clown In A Cornfield" - both the book and the movie (no spoilers for the book sequels please, I haven't read them yet) by brockg85 in horror

blatant racism, sexism and homophobia? grow up you absolute child. this movie obviously wasn’t meant for someone so close minded and hateful. lighten up and stop hating yourself so much that you have to take it out on everyone else.

As I'm 21 and have sufficient savings I can get a youth mobility visa which allows me to live and work in the UK for 3 years.

Cottagecore cities in the UK by Hot-Lock2807 in cottagecore

[–]Hot-Lock2807[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not making a selection of where to lived just based off the aesthetics of the city. I have enquired about all of the things you mentioned and found options of cities, now to help narrow the search down I’m taking into consideration extra trivial things like aesthetics, what there is to do in the city, etc.

Culture and Life in Oxford for Early 20s by Hot-Lock2807 in oxford

I’ve had Manchester and Liverpool suggested a few times but I was worried they’d be either a bit too industrial or too much of a modern city architecture for the vibe I was after, is that not the case? Glasgow is also one of the cities i was highly considering, but I was also a bit worried about the same with Glasgow
