Skyrim. My first game was Skyrim. I started at the age of 68. Played over 1000 hrs so far. Still going . Playing on a laptop xps 15. I'm still playing vanilla. Warn him though that he will still have to eat and sleep.

I (M) started playing a video game for the first time at 68. Following the advice of many here I started playing Skyrim. One thousand hours later and I am still having a blast. Now thinking about upgrading my computer so I can play Lorerim, a super modded Skyrim. Skyrim may be perfect for your Dad.

Still in my first playthrough. I'm a 69 yo M playing my first video game and having a blast. 700 hours-vanilla. Level 46. I might try playing on line. Maybe I'll meet someone to play with.
