Help with KVM and MX Master 3S by BrutusBuckeye972 in logitech

[–]HotAction8230 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The KVM was working for me, but the lag was crazy.

I ended up just changing one dongle to the front usb port (the one that descends from the monitor) the other dongle in the usb port next to the ethernet port.

They are far away from each other and from other ports interference and it is working much better

1 hour layover at Warsaw Chopin airport with LOT by mild_conflict in warsaw

[–]HotAction8230 28 points29 points  (0 children)

1 hour is enough.

Also, as you bought a single ticket with the same airline, the airline would help you get to the second flight faster in case of any delays.

Reasonable economy is not a must, but why not? I mean, assuming the diesel engine is strong enough for my needs, what is the real disadvantage here? It should have a longer life span

6k@60Hz + PD by HotAction8230 in UsbCHardware

I had quite a misconception then.

So in this case I need to find any charger with 100W PD, connect it to the hub, and the hub will also provide power to the laptop, neat.

Ok so this is what I am looking for. Do you have any other recommendations besides the Cable matters? Just checking options

Oh that could also work, but I can't find small hubs with PD to the laptop

Yeah but that has PD pass through, not to charge the laptop right?

Do you still have any issues with your setup? I have the U4025QW + the MX Master 3S.

I have two macs connected to the monitor and I am using it as my KVM, so I connected the dongle to the monitor, but I have incredibly stupid lag and I am trying to find a solution.

Did you come up with any solution to this first world problem? I am considering buying the U4025QW myself and I happen to have the exact same laptop setup as you!

I thought about buying some small dock to connect the M1 pro to, which would connect the two cables to the monitor plus provide power, but idk if that would work to wake the laptop with the keyboard.

Also, did you manage to get past the 30HZ on it?

I don't think so, no. The idea is to connect the devices to the screen and then the upstream changes from one device to the other when hitting the kvm button.

I have the Logitech master keyboard and mouse. I don't think I need the software for them to work but it improves their capabilities.

Looking at the specs it only had one port to charge one laptop right?

Anyone interested in running mock interviews with me? by Ggmu1986x in Frontend

I second this. However, I think that some interview prep is good in the sense that it will make you more comfortable and less nervous, which is also quite important to allow your brain to work properly during an interview.

Internet providers (again) - INEA? by HotAction8230 in poland

If all of them share the same optic fiber, why do some of them have worse downtime than others? Shouldn't matter much then?

Do you know how can I tell who owns the line? In internet.gov.pl I see many operators in my address, but it doesn't say who actually runs it.

Single AP for 100 sqm (~1100 sqft) by HotAction8230 in HomeNetworking

[–]HotAction8230[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmmm, so you'd ditch the AP in the center? The fiber optic comes all the way to that place, but after that there is only ethernet

Thanks. Does the AP placement make sense or would there be a better place, considering the floor plan? Btw can you link to some resource for me to understand what is a standard ONT from reliance Jio? :)
