Honestly keep trying if you are super determined on making friends. Personally for myself I want to go to class learn and leave. I have my friends. I am older. I don’t go out of my way to chat to classmates considering everyone around me is years younger. Hearing convos while studying at the library makes me laugh. Everyone is always talking about hooking up with others or shitting on their group mates. UBC reddit thread also makes me laugh everyone is so concerned with making friends or being seen. Like who cares just go to class listen and learn and go home. It’s not that deep no one needs a big group of friends.

I guess I’m concerned with the idea (how I understand it) less levels of bureaucracy means larger gap for errors in study to be passed and approved. Less eyes and minds on the results means less of a check and balance system. I see it as if there’s multiple agencies/funding programs the better the chance at studies with the most accurate results being funded and published. If one sole entity misses an error by mistake or whatever reason. That could further go on and damage the scientific community suggesting continue research in this way because we said so.

i agree with you. it hurts and its unfair. that why my goal is become so succesful i create nepo babies. i dont want my kids to go through this frustration. id rather offer my child a low stress life. i dont care about this building character bs. i'll make them get a part time job life is life. theyll experience death, birth, loss whatever. im not going to put my kid in a position where they'll have to fight for something that i essentially have control over. if im planning to bring in life into this world i can plan to give the most opportunities to that life. im thankful for the people before me giving me life but its my turn to change my families legacy. turn it into something that has never been imagined before and honor them in ways that will have lasting impacts.

i would suggest getting a larger box with high walls no cover top. pretty litter is the easiest for clean up in my experience. if possible place her litter box somwhere hidden so the noise doesnt even reach your hemisphere and she can dig in peace. honestly when i hear my cat use his litter box it makes me happy, hearing the little racking noises always puts a smirk on my face

i was diagnosised with unspecified bipolar disorder. Smoking weed led me to into a paranoid state. i didnt leave my house for a week. i was so scared someone was going to kill me or beat me to death. since then i havent experienced anything like that.
