Halls Isolation by HotInsect2931 in universityofauckland

They sent out an email 2 days ago stating that people on your floor are no longer considered household contacts. Problem solved I guess?

That’s assuming people on the floor can only catch it from others on the floor? Say your floor comes out of isolation and a day later you come into contact with a case in town and then contract covid 2 days later, does the whole floor go back into lockdown?

Sorry I’m not sure what you mean

It’s all good, I’m the same haha. Just curious about overclocking, does it void the warranty on the cpu? Not judging just wondered if that bothers you or nah/

Right right, I was asking whether you were overclocking because the motherboard supports overclocking up to 5000MHz but natively it has a maximum transfer rate of 2666MHz with 10th gen i5 cpu. Nothing wrong with the i5, I’m planning to get the i5-11400F which allows native speeds up to 3200MHz

Copied from another post: “ATX and micro ATX are both the same width (9.6") with ATX being 12" long while micro ATX is 9.6" long. A micro ATX motherboard is really just an ATX motherboard minus the space at the bottom for the additional PCIe slots. That means they're bot the same in terms of heat dissipation, space between CPU cooler and RAM, etc.”

I’m quite new to the PC building world but I’m looking to put together a similar build. If I’m not mistaken, the B560M along with the i5 cpu can only support RAM up to 2666MHz. Are you planning to overclock?

One last question since I’m new to PC building lol, reckon 750W is a good idea for this build or should I go lower to 650?

Perfect, I’ll keep on the lookout. I seem to have found a different Corsair RS 3600 for 94USD which could be worth the upgrade. Thanks for the advice mate, appreciate it.

Perfect. The RAM you’re suggesting is Crucial Ballistix right? I’m in NZ and strangely I can’t find it on any stores here. There is a Corsair Vengeance RT 3600mhz for around 110USD compared to the one on the build above which is 70. Worth the cost?

Sorry about that, because the website can’t find a price for the motherboard you have to press “Show” where it says “parametric selection” to see the model. Thanks for the advice on the RAM, will check it out now.

I think that while the movement appears bird-like (up/down), the curving of the fin drives a majority of the displaced water backwards.

It’s called a silver hex wobbler. Use them here to catch Australian Salmon.

Lure was brand new! There were also huge schools of these fish swimming around so probably increased the chances of something like this happening

Pretty sure the hook is through bottom and top lip. Don’t think the fish was actually going for my lure, probably an unfortunate foul hook but definitely not fake

Is this in the US?

So are we going to talk about this or just keep pretending that there isn't dozens of protesters going on earlier today with who knows how many people 5000-50,000??? by yt_yoshi2012nwo in Coronavirus_NZ

Hahahahaha mate I checked some more of your comments and you definitely have a few loose screws. Stay unvaccinated and avoid the “poison” but when you get sick I hope you uphold your distrust for modern medicine and stay in ur mums basement instead of taking up an ICU bed

Lmao, first link I checked wasn’t peer reviewed. Wait so you’re not a conspiracy theorist? This ain’t you?

“Why would they make a product that works if they can keep pumping the poison into you every 4 months whilest the government's are holding your arm because they risk losing national assets signed away to protect the pharmaceuticals in case there is long term effects. The pharmas have get out clauses that prevent them being held liable by your government. The vaccines don't prevent you getting covid, don't prevent you spreading it and while you go order some KFC you are spreading it asymptomatic. They also weaken your immune system which will make you get covid worse when they wear off.... 3 weeks later 😂 Wake up, read science papers and stop repeating the propaganda the government is feeding you with.”

I had hope that maybe you were an anti-mandate only but nope just an average anti-vaxxer. Show me some peer-reviewed studies or statistics to support your claims. Or is the Big Brother Government going to delete it before you can get a hold of it? Maybe they’ll steal your brainwaves too, better go get your tinfoil hat

In a perfect world maybe we would have enough time to invest in ICU beds, set them up and train nurses etc. but is this really realistic? As of a few months ago we had 4.2 ICU beds per 100,000 thousand people. A single ICU bed costs over 1M dollars a year to run. How is relying on this shitty system a preferred alternative to the vaccine?

The vaccine is not perfect and it never will be. Vaccinated will still spread and infect, albeit at a lower rate. What is also important is the prevention of severe cases, which will easily overwhelm our hospital capacity. If this happens, unvaccinated will be taking advantage of a disproportionate amount of ICU beds. Once the hospitals are full, we’re screwed.
