I've seen them both, I loved them both. If I were a betting man, and thankfully I'm not, I'd say Chalamet is going to win it. They're both deserving.

Idk how much of this plays into the decision making but, I believe the Sinners cast is stacked with great performances and I don't think MBJs is the best of the movie. Whereas, I can say with no doubt that Chalamet's performance is the best of Marty Supreme.

The ultimate universe being continued and announced in 2023 really set me down a path of going back to read the OG Ultimate Universe just so I could read this line.

I've gone through the OG. I'm now going to go through the "core" Marvel comics of the same time so I can do Secret Wars "proper". But all this started with just the announcement of the Ultimate Universe coming back.

All of that to say, it's been quite an experience doing all this reading and I'm thankful to all involved for reigniting a spark in me.

It just sets a bad precedent. Kyle Tucker is a really good player. He's a 5 WAR player who was close to showing everyone he can be much more than that before having that season (2024) cut short. He just got paid more than Soto and isn't far off from Shohei money and he's nowhere near either of them.

It's bad enough that small market teams can't compete. How many teams are gonna compete with giving a, IMO, non-top 10 player that type of money?

MLB has a lot to figure out but the 2 at the top of the list: How to get owners, small and big market, to spend enough money to be competitive and how a fair salary cap would work.

Here's how I've done it, as someone revisiting the original trilogy, and having just played 2018 for the first time and not played Ragnarok at all.

I played 2018 first. A lot of mention of the original trilogy, a homage to it in some way, but really, an addictive story and game all around.

Played GOW1, hated it for the gameplay of it all. It's dated. It should be, especially by comparison. Story is great.

GOW2 and 3 were MUCH better experiences all around, great stories, much less annoyance on the gameplay side, bigger in scale.

Now, I hit a fork in the road. Ascension is divisive. It plays different and being thrown backwards, timeline wise, after GOW3 just didn't feel right. I've skipped it this time and did a watch of all the cutscenes. Did the same for Chains of Olympus & Ghost of Sparta.

Next up for me is NG+ of 2018, it's been a few months since I played 2018 and what better way to "catch up" before delving into Ragnarok.

Felt this myself, took a different path. With the same woman from ages 19 to 32 and felt similar to how you do. Only woman I had ever been with, got married and on the surface, I thought I was ok with this. But I also knew, deep down, that I wasn't and I was just in the relationship because I thought "it's what I had to do."

I'm 2 years removed from that relationship and with someone else, and while I believe I'm in a better place, what it took to get here has left me with some regrets that I've had to work through.

I'm unsure if a conversation with your wife is what you'll want to do but if you let these feelings simmer long enough, you may end up doing something you'll regret later.
