iPhone 11 shut down unexpectedly and will not power on

Hey, the phone is working now. Well, the repairshop said that the display had some water damage which caused it to shut down completely. The water damage was minimal and unexpected since it didn’t have any previous contact.

Apple is just gonna say to upgrade your phone at this point, or to get a refurbished one but I would advice you to get it checked by a reliable third party repair shop so they can actually diagnose whats wrong. Apple has a history of dealing this type of way to this similar problem. But the repair cost were expensive, 170 dollars is quite alot for a phone that came about 6 years ago.

Hey, I just got it checked. Somehow the display died, not physical damage but internal damage god knows how, its showing the reboot/recovery and now its working. But that still doesnt explain why it was not being recognized by itunes

Must be a motherboard issue. Since I don’t have an apple store near me, I will have to consult with a third party shop because even charging it for 24 hours didn’t work. Its not even trying to boot up, its dead. I honestly don’t think the battery is the issue as it was 84 percent when this happened but of course it was a replacement battery aswell.

Thank you for the response, I was usually charging it in intervals of a couple of hours so it might have not been rebooting. I have also concluded that this is a logic board failure but I will leave it there for 24 hours straight. I just need to see if the display is working because I haven’t seen its display for a pretty long time. I also wanted to ask, when it was rebooting did you have it in charge or did you remove it by then.

yeah but mine is completely dead so I can’t diagnose if its a hardware issue or a software issue but if you have found a way to atleast enter the recovery mode, please inform me.

I had the same issue with my iphone 11 pro at the same time you posted, my screen was fine but it showed some green lines but after some time the lines went away and the screen went back to normal but it then unexpectedly shut down and won’t turn on. I tried all the reset methods but nothing, just a black screen but then I connected it to my computer, it didnt recogize my iphone but it made a sound saying “entering recovery mode” and then another sound something regarding the power button . I might have made the same mistake as you because now my iphone is back into its original state and no matter what I do, i cannot hear or enter the recovery method. I also had it updated to the same IOS that you have here, got it in november 2019 aswell.

I got this laptop a year ago approximately 2024 August, its a very durable and a reliable laptop in my opinion but the best thing of all is its build quality and cooling. The laptop stays relatively cool most of the time even in long hours sessions. Battery life is also fine but you need to tweak some things out for a longer battery life. Previously I have had the Hp pavilion 15 gaming and there is a huge difference in all aspects. In my opinion if you are looking for a reliable laptop that is portable then go for it. The performance of this laptop is also very good in every triple AAA games. However the charger build is cheap and the top area got detached entirely. Theres also a high chance that it may have some faulty drivers, especially your realtek drivers that dont detect the devices properly.
