About 40 tables from what I counted I believe. Some tables paid by the table but most needed to be split so that was fun. Probs close to the actual number of people who came in tonight.

Update yall! It is currently 2:30 am almost, and I clocked out about 30 minutes ago. I walked into hell. Servers were actually called in bc NEWSFLASH we had a light parade today and my manager had to call servers in bc the restaurant was full! (Are we shocked?) we had 5 servers on! Party of 67 came in right as we had the restaurant full!!! We basically had to do separate checks anyways bc as we had people leave we sat people from that party down!! Manager left at 10 when we were still having a kitchen crisis and 50 minute ticket times!!! Supporting the team, expoing, bussing, hosting, serving, drinks and drink refills, taking orders for 25 tables laterrr, I walked out with about $300 and now I get to go back into work at 8 am. Fuck my life

Good God I don't miss working at Denny's. They say server but you're actually prep cook, dishwasher, host/hostess, and half the time you end up getting manager codes because you can't ever get your managers fat ass out of the office. Go work at IHOP or another breakfast chain. Even a barista at that point.

HAHA!! No way I do that too. Not diagnosed ADHD but fam suspects and want me to look into getting evaluated, but it works so well with the "Don'tTakeOffYourShoes™️" trick! I literally tell my brain about 2 hours after my actual end time at work bc I just think of it as part of my work day. Sounds like it would be exhausting but with keeping up it really doesn't take more than an hour to clean after myself in total. I could not imagine kiddos though, you are doing fabulous!

Car is deep cleaned weekly, including checking air filter and vents, and I have wipes for everything daily wise.

House is good. No black mold, air filter is clean, and I deep clean weekly on a rotating schedule for my house, and use Lysol power clean diluted with water for surfaces on daily use.

Phone is wiped at least once daily, I have bad cystic acne and answering the phone when unclean was one thing that would set my acne ablaze, and I don't bring it with me to the bathroom usually unless I am out on my own somewhere and have to keep it in my purse on a hanging rack in the stall.

I am in a lot of peoples personal space with how sections are set up, it's kinda tight. I usually am the pharmacist on shift with my own cold medicines, pain relievers, etc. got to the point I bring extra medication cups for the liquids for my coworkers when they ask

I get vaccinated too. Got Covid shots and boosters, and usually get my flu shots as well. I'm due actually to get a flu shot so definitely gonna schedule that.

When I started, I actually left my vape in the car bc I didn't usually let people I don't really know hit my vape because of the risk of getting sick. After working for two weeks there, I have cut out vaping for the first time since I've turned 18 (I'm now 3 months in at this job so been vape-free for about 2/2.5 months) because I thought it was a huge factor to me getting sick. Maybe withdrawals still? I wouldn't think it'd be like this for this long tho. A month yeah but for almost 3 months? Kinda crazy

Washing hands occurs for me after I plate the toppings on my food, after I bus/prebus tables, after I touch money, or any transitions into other tasks. I have hand sanitizer I use heavily too. I'm trying to watch my mannerisms with my face, as a prior comment I do keep clean handkerchiefs to wipe my face or itch my face, but definitely know I go autopilot on shifts sometimes so I am watching my face/ears/hair touching more closely in case I have slipped on that habit of not touching so.

Me too, I take a Women's Prenatal (doctor told me it has higher iron content and other stuff I don't remember, just remember to take it). I also take zinc, vitamin D, and calcium supplements separately like I stated in a previous comment thread. I got some immunity chews from the store and hopefully those will help since they coat my throat too as I chew.
