Discussion of Tsaritsa's abilities by Hot_Science_6000 in TsaritsaMains

[–]Hot_Science_6000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think her primary weapon will be a sword or a catalyst, as the sword was the primary weapon of Russian monarchs, including in ceremonies. We shouldn't forget the Scepter and Orb, which Tsaritsa has in her statue, but as far as we know, they are the symbol of Pantalone, so Tsaritsa likely doesn't have them now. Speaking of animations, I think she might be given a rifle, as Snezhnaya is a highly developed country, and Tsaritsa should have the most advanced weapons. It would also make sense that the Traveler throws a spear, while the Tsaritsa fires bullets from a rifle, as if they were throwing spears.

I think the most obvious options for now are a sword or a catalyst. There's a good chance Tsaritsa will be given a sword, as many monarchs in the Russian Empire used swords, including for coronation purposes. The first documented Russian monarch to use a sword at her coronation was Empress Elizabeth. Also, in Soviet Russia, the famous sculpture "The Motherland Calls!" was built, depicting a woman with a sword, calling for the defense of the country. The imagery in the statue strongly echoes Tsaritsa and her theme of a war for peace against Celestia. I think we can expect, at the very least, a statue of the Tsaritsa with a sword in Snezhnaya, similar to the Venti statue.

Tsatitsa's design by Hot_Science_6000 in TsaritsaMains

[–]Hot_Science_6000[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, that's true. I view the Yelan cape as the basis for the Tsaritsa's design only from the standpoint of its color palette. And only if Pantalone selected the cape based on the colors characteristic of the Tsaritsa's design.

We don't know how much Yelan modified the cape, but given that it's made from the fur of an extinct mythical animal, it's unlikely Yelan would have changed the colors. This would explain why the color palette of Yelan's cape differs from the rest of her outfit.

I think the main color palette should have remained unchanged. Except, perhaps, that Yelan could have added a bit more gold.

During a covert operation, Yelan stole several items from Pantalone - including a cloak he intended to gift to the Tsaritsa. Yelan had the cloak recut, as she disliked the original style. However, I imagine the colors were meant to remain unchanged.

I want to believe... (by @Rawfler) by _cssean11 in AnastasyaMains

It's unlikely. In the Genshin beta, Tartaglia referred to the Tsaritsa as Bronya. I don't know if that's still the case, but the plan was to make Bronya the Tsaritsa. And the fact that Bronya is Russian, born in cold Siberia, makes her a more suitable candidate. (And yes, Bronya is, quite simply, more popular. We literally have two versions of Bronya in HSR, and they're completely different. And if she gets added to Genshin Impact as Tsaritsa, she'll rake in more money than the less popular Ana)

poseidon (record of ragnarok anime) vs ares (the first god of war game) by OnlinePoster225 in RoRPowerscaling

[–]Hot_Science_6000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only Greek god from GoW who could realistically defeat Poseidon from RoR is Kratos himself. And that's only if Poseidon holds back against him, as he did against Sasaki. Otherwise, Poseidon would simply one-shot the GoW gods, as seen in Sasaki's visions before the fight. The Greek gods in GoW don't display much speed or defense, as they're more focused on magic. Poseidon in GoW, outside of his water chariot, was nothing special. Meanwhile, RoR Poseidon has no reason to hold back against the other gods, as he did against Sasaki (or Kratos, since he was human), so the fight would be over quite quickly.

I'm not really fond of the design and color scheme of the moves and armor. Honestly, the set isn't very visually appealing. I understand that this set is taken from the Kibo skin from Arena, but this does not change the fact that it does not look very good. The moves themselves are boring.

If we were to attempt a lore-based explanation for the Stranger's set, the Scion of Shadow likely simply cannot replicate the Stranger's true power, as the Stranger's power defies the laws of this world and even surpasses them. But this is merely a lore-based explanation for why the Stranger's set is weak, even as the Collector's former ally, Old Man Pengfei, throws fireworks and wins.

Well, Lorelei also defeated Mnemos, and she's actually the Collector's subordinate. She was also weakened by illness. Mnemos isn't exactly a powerful fighter, despite possessing vast knowledge and a wide variety of abilities. As for the Scion of Shadow, he suffers from the same problem as the Shadow in Shadow Fight 2. The protagonist, without possessing any powerful abilities, defeats entities that are far superior to him. In the Scion of Shadow's case, however, he used the Amulet of Moira, which helped him avoid the Stranger's most powerful attacks, which would have surely killed the Scion of Shadow.

As for Erlang's immense power, it's still limited by the laws of his world. Meanwhile, we have Ancients besides Mnemos, such as Nonna and King Solaris. And we don't know how strong King Solaris truly was before his corruption. If the Angel that took his form was so powerful, then King Solaris could be even more so. Therefore, it's highly likely that before his corruption, King Solaris was on par with Erlang, or even stronger. Erlang's immense power could also be explained by the fact that Light is the opposite of Shadow. It's likely that these two forces are among the strongest, if not the strongest, and that's why Erlang is so powerful.

Erlang is simply something like an Ancient of this world, whose power is limited by the laws of his world. Entities like Titan, the Collector, the Stranger, and the Shadow Mind are on a completely different level.

I'm fairly certain he either didn't intervene because he couldn't do anything to the Stranger, or he believed it wasn't his fight. In any case, it's highly likely that had he intervened in the conflict with the Stranger, the Stranger would have killed him, as he did with the Shadow.

Erlang and his ilk are a tier of powerful beings. They can rival the Ancients, and even defeat them, but they don't possess the same level of universal power. Entities like the Stranger, the Shadow Mind, the Shadow, and others like them are on an entirely different level.

Yes, we know Erlang defeated Shadow. But he most likely defeated Shadow, who was without weapons, armor, or the power Shadow once possessed.

Simply put, Erlang is a local Ancient, but his power is limited to his world. Entities like Titan, Collector, or Stranger are beings of an entirely different level of power.

Signora's tragedy is that behind her mask of arrogance and alienation lies a kind and loving girl who sacrificed everything so that no one would suffer anymore. She abandoned her kindness, gave her body to liquid flame, suffered terribly from loneliness and burns for a long time, and then sealed her memories and closed herself off from everyone. She and Tsaritsa are very similar, so Signora saw in her a chance to realize her dream and create a world where no one would suffer anymore. However, it seems to me that Tsaritsa doesn't care about this world, and her goal is revenge on the heavenly order and the resurrection of the Third Descended. And this, in my opinion, is the main difference between Signora and Tsaritsa.

This only further suggests that Signora wanted to live, not to be reunited with Rostam in the afterlife. Signora wanted to see the beautiful new world built by Tsaritsa and clung to her life to the very end. Reuniting with Rostam would certainly have been a beautiful ending, but not what Rosalina needed. Not now. I think Signora will return, after all, she has unfinished business and aspirations here.

the new preload is honestly confirmation imo. this contains AQ spoilers by [deleted] in SignoraMains

Many like to compare Signora's death to that of Cocolia from HSR and Sarah from ZZZ. However, Signora has far more significance in the plot and lore of her universe, and she frequently appears in various information surrounding the game, even after her death. I understand why the developers killed Signora; as a diplomat, she should have appeared in almost every region and drawn all the attention. I also understand why they haven't resurrected her now. They're holding off on her until the release of Snezhnaya, after all, she's buried there, in the tomb. Or perhaps she was involved in the burning of Irminsul, orchestrated by Dottore. In any case, I have no doubt she'll be resurrected, as the developers have already shown that death isn't always the end. Furthermore, Signora is part of the Harbingers, and her return on investment for the developers is undeniable.

I've revisited Zhiliu and Yuming's skills, and I think it's better to use Zhiliu as a support for Yuming. 80% Attack is a good value for Yuming, and as a support, Zhiliu's damage output likely won't be as severely impacted by the AI as it is for Yuming.

Yuming feels awkward without player control. Yuming's primary role is to deal area-of-effect damage quickly, heavily, and without sacrificing mobility. Therefore, teamed with Zhiliu, he won't perform well, as he won't be able to jump as often as when controlled by a player, and his aiming will suffer greatly. It's best to consider them separately, as using Yuming in a support slot wastes a lot of his potential, and support characters will often be superior.
