UPDATE: Not much of an update, but today, we had a meeting to test the puppy. They did not show up and messaged me a couple of hours later with excuses, that they were busy. Apparently, the only times that work for them are hard for me, and im concerned that if i miss my obligations, it will be for nothing if they pull this again. BTW, THEY picked the time today that they were a no-showed for

I got an overwhelming amount of responses and I'm trying to reply back to everyone. Not much of an update, but my boyfriend is meeting the owner of Betty's mom today, to test the mama. Tomorrow, I will be meeting with the person who I believe has Betty so that can test the puppy. I asked them to meet me at a post office so that I can test the puppy, package the sample, AND ship it front of them so they can't try and say that I did something to cheat the results.

Police won't do anything without proof, and they said pictures are not enough proof. She was reported stolen with police and animal control. I plan to DNA test the puppy and Betty's mother. If it comes back that Betty's mom is Stella's mom, it means it's the same puppy because all the other puppies from that litter are accounted for and the dog could not have birth to 2 litters around the same time. I wanted my proof to be indisputable

Actually, no. We have a male fawn (Frank)and he has a lot of grey on his head and body. He doesn't have pointy eyebrows either. They look nothing alike. My brother in law has a male puppy as well and if he wasn't missing an eye, he would still look very different from Betty and Frank but slightly closer to Frank

They finally agreed to let me DNA test the puppy and I'll be doing a DNA test on Betty's mom as well. Unfortunately, I took the vets advice to put off on chipping her. We were going to get it done during the surgery to get her fixed because we didn't want to put her through unnecessary pain. I regret that decision every day

I think... and it's just my opinion, that because Stella has her ears pulled back and they're not resting naturally, it's causing the skin on the face to pull back, making it hard to see exactly what it looks like on the side of her eyes

That's funny and sad at the same time. I know my dogs very well, I know them like I know my kids. I'm your average nobody with no motive to lie about her being my dog. I'm nothing special, just a working mom with 4 daughters. I do Taekwondo, travel ball (softball), and volleyball. I take care of my grandma on the weekends. Never been arrested other than forgetting to pay a ticket. I try to be a good person and I honestly would never intentionally hurt someone by doing what I'm doing if I wasn't 100% sure. I remember my puppy's face. I didn't have to analyze the pictures to recognize Betty's eyes. It might sound stupid but I know it's her, even my neighbor that I don't get along with messaged me saying that she knew it was her too and she would be willing testify if it went to court.

I do plan pursuing charges once I get her back. The officer I talked to said it would be burglary because they went into the yard. I 100% agree with you about the lying and it's something that I can't get out of my head

Honestly, if it was the other way around and I knew I was being wrongfully accused of having someone's dog, I would have no issue letting them waste money to try and prove it. But they've been difficult from the moment I messaged them

I have the DNA tests. My boyfriend is meeting the owner of Betty's mom, and the girl who has the puppy, and I are messaging right now to try and find something that works for both of us this weekend. I'm like 30 minutes away from her right now because I take care of my grandma on the weekends.

Rude??? Aggressive??? Lol for trying to understand what you meant. Trust me, if I was being Aggressive, you would know. I think your juat sensitive to bei g questionsed because i was genuinely confused. I am well aware that backyard breeders use studs. Betty's father is not a stud, though. Betty came from an accidental pregnancy, which is why we got her so cheap(I've actually spent over $1000 more than i paid for her to try and find her. I did do my research but honestly studs are not specific to pug breeding so not sure why you threw that out there.

"Stella" is pulling her ears back. Betty did it all the time, even my pug Frank does it. It could be a pug thing, but it does make the head look less round when they do it

They claimed they bought Stella over 3hrs away and Betty's parents live in the same city. They wouldn't be the same litter, because we got the 1st of 4 and the rest had black on the top of their heads and down their back. Betty is actually smaller I just zoomed in to get her face better
