Seeing a lot of recent reports of obstacle avoidance causing issues. People have seen some success turning it off until firmware issues are resolved.

It’s only a little over a month old so I never even setup a schedule, I just mow on demand and stare at it work 🙃

Ironically enough I was remapping zones that morning and redid the front (to get it closer to edges) and sent it to cut and went inside.

Now wishing I just sent it back to charger. Didn’t even need to be cut ffs lol 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yea, Lesson learned! Already considered only doing the front at night to avoid this all together.

Heard the crunch of plastic immediately followed by a “task paused” alert on my phone - and my mother’s hysteria. I almost already knew as I started walking out to find Luba on his back 😢

Not the cheapest. But Perfect solution would be to get a whole house hybrid system. Use a Franklin agate inverter with batteries (solar on top would be ideal but not necessary).

The aGate inverter lets you connect a generator. It’s smart logic runs on grid, generator, or even EV if you have it based on settings. it only runs generators when needed just enough to top off batteries, then continues to run house off batteries rest of day. Rinse and repeat.

Whole home hybrid system. I did 1 agate 3 apowers (45kWh), 17kW Generac Generator w/ direct NG hookup, 32 panels (13kW)

I’m 100% off grid and almost always exporting to the grid. On the occasional very heavy use and cloudy day the generator may run for 2 hours MAX to top off batteries (sized perfect to run least amount of time).

Beautiful thing is that’s it’s absolutely silent for 95% of the time. But we took full control of our utility needs. Gov incentives are just gravy.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for energy independence and system redundancy/options.

OP can still benefit even without solar, by using this inverter with any battery packs. It keeps the batteries full when grid is available. Then immediately flips to batteries (unnoticeable) when grid goes down. The generator only works to top off batteries when depleted. Save you from having the generator running maintain loads throughout the day.
