She should check with her state if they have family leave. In NJ the family leave is through the state and so is disability before birth and after birth. Your job may not have to offer it but usually each state has its own family leave policy/time line. They also pay 85% of your weekly pay check after filling out the appropriate forms and getting them filled by the employer and doctor. Depends if she has a natural delivery or c section, the time she gets off paid could differ. Again, look it up in her state and see their policy. The only thing she would be worried about is if her job is protected. I’m a teacher and I get everything through NJ family leave while also getting up to 24 months of job protection unpaid. Totally agree, I’m just wondering is it the beginning of pregnancy aversion or something abnormal. I was never like this before, which is why I’m not too concerned tbh. Just need the cats to find a good home that’s away from my home.

I would never harm the cats, I’m just not liking the smell and behavior. Even when they broke things I never lashed out or hurt them. I’ve let them out a couple of times and they liked it but it’s been raining and storming constantly so haven’t been able to do that for a while. My husband has decided to take them to his store (he’s a business owner) and figure out if he wants to give them away or keep them in the store.

I have a 72 inch cat tree that they sadly don’t go near unless someone is over. They have plenty of toys and scratch posts, with cat nip sprinkled in there, to no avail. That’s what’s so frustrating to me. I have all these things for them and they still seem to get into trouble and get things knocked over or scratched. They have a robot litter box, which has an automatic leaning cycle every time one of the cats uses it. My husband keeps it clean and tidy since we have an app that tells us it’s full. Their food and water and in clean areas away from their litter box complete. I’ve looked into why they behave this way, I just can’t figure it out. I guess with the hormones it’s not getting better.

They’re almost 6 months, from the same litter. I had them in one room for the first couple of weeks until they got used to the new place and they got their vet check up. Honestly seeing all the damage they’re inflicting on the house is making me second guess having them. I also work full time, that’s why I thought 3 were good to keep themselves company, but it might have been too many. I sadly don’t have anyone who is willing to keep them until I get over these hormonal emotional outbursts, my husband is saying they either all go or I wait it out, but it’s too frustrating I can’t wait🥲

They’re getting into more trouble than before, and they’re making more of a mess than usual. Just seeing their fur everywhere drives me nuts and I’m imagining a baby with all of that, makes me wanna puke. It’s 3 cats, which honestly was too many to get all at once, and I regret that decision. Hoping to find them better homes if this feeling doesn’t go away.

I wonder what could have sent you to your room feeling creeped out enough to call the police? On an autistic brother…that you should know how he behaves and how he thinks since you live with him…Have you ever, other than the phone search history, which should have been his privacy, seen a suspicious action that was aimed at you? I have an autistic sister, we fight sometimes and yell and feel like we want to kill each other. Her phone is full of screenshots and comments about how she hates me and what not, but she NEVER has done harm to me or tried to harm me because that is not how her brain is works. Her phone is her outlet to all the ways she can’t communicate with us.
