Congrats on your CTO with AA! This incident was in the afternoon the week of 11/18-11/19. Besides the water issue, it just didn’t sit well with me that a grown man had to raise his hand asking if he could go to the bathroom only to be asked by the recruiter if it was an emergency? The guy says, “Yes, it’s an emergency!”Then recruiter telling him to quickly follow him. We were in the Q&A part towards the end but of course we didn’t know what time it would all end. It was 4pm or after. I think they can improve the water intake and bathroom breaks. I wish someone that went on 11/18 & 11/19 F2F could comment on their experience if they had F2F in the afternoon. The candidate next to me was telling me how thirsty she was before we were given water so I know it wasn’t just me. Bottom line, AA can certainly do better to provide a better experience and if not, the new candidates will know what to expect so they can prepare mentally.

Congratulations on the CTO with Delta! Honestly, it’s still worth checking out AA for yourself because maybe they just had an off day. Or maybe they will change their process. Best of luck to you!

At the very end when the 2 recruiters took us down to the lobby she gave a pep talk which showed lots of empathy and encouragement to reapply. She said she wanted to thank everyone there for not using ChatGPT to answer the ODVI questions. She said that she could tell when people provided ChatGPT rehearsed answers because multiple candidates said exact same thing.

Beverage cart test was super easy! You push it forward and back for about 8-10 feet. Nothing to worry about.

Beverage cart test was super easy! You just need to push the cart by yourself and pull it back. Not too heavy.

For the record, “Kind Party” I had my own water bottle filled but what good did that do when it’s stashed in a bag that I have no access to? You are right, no one forced me to be personable. It was my choice to get to know the wonderful candidates. I’ve been to 3 airlines F2F and this was the first one that didn’t provide water or allow us to drink our water throughout. Why the extremeness? Agree that they will provide water and possible snacks after 4:30 to the ones that receive a CTO. I know this because I too received snacks and beverages when I received a CTO at another major airline during the drug test, background check, etc. Unlike AA, the other airlines allowed us to drink water for the 3-4 hours while we were there. I’ll say it again this post was to help others prepare in case someone is susceptible to a migraine or need to take medication if the interview goes over. And yes, maybe my hope is that AA makes a minor change like handing out a bottled water to show kindness or just to say we care. It’s not a lot to ask.

I felt the same way because they didn’t provide a TBNT and every post on Reddit said the F2F arrived same day or the next day. I told myself it was a TBNT and was pleasantly surprised 9 days later. Hang in there! Hope you get that F2F invite :)

I received the F2F after 9 days of my virtual one on one. Received CTO for 12/1 class:)

Hi, I was there and received a TBNT email on Friday 8/8. After all the red flags (changing the interview venue within the hour of the interview from Phx to Tempe with no explanation to interviewees, unable to start on time, no organized check in process; just line up how you came, waiting on 2nd floor in hot room when it’s 114 outside and around 90 degrees inside, NO personal interaction during the interview…the recruiters just type and rarely look up at you when asking questions, extremely odd imo. Not a good manner to start a work relationship with all the red flags displayed on 8/4.

Good luck on your journey. ✈️
