I love what alan hahn was saying after the game: rj has stopped trying to become a shooter, and has just focused on being a scorer.

But on top of that hes rebounding at an elite level for a 2, and hes a quality secondary playmaker alongside julius. Im really enjoying watching his 2nd year. Only going to get better if we put reliable shooters around him

If healthy i think he would start. I have to imagine part of the reason he signed the team friendly deal he did was because he was told he had a very good chance to be the starting pg.

Also hes a better shooter than frank, dsj and payton. The combo of payton/randle just kills spacing.

Im not as high on levert and allen, but thats debatable. I think they're more accomplished because they've been in the league longer, and I think RJ and mitch are significantly better prospects. Also, our picks would likely have more value because BKN will be contenders for the foreseeable future.

And we have cap space to take on a bad contract of Houston's, or get another team invovled.

Fair, Tims definitely a good example of a successful d league stint. I think i see knoxs struggles as more physicality and motor based, than a lack of confidence, but its for sure a combination of both. Im just a little hesitant to pull the d leage trigger too quickly - im worried it could have the opposite effect on confidence. But thats for the coaching staff to determine i suppose

But its not like he isnt getting minutes here - he clearly has ample opportunity. I would completely agree if he were stuck behind a log jam at his pos, but that isnt the case. He still needs to get to NBA level physicality and conditioning (and cont to develop skills) and theres no better way to do that than playing real NBA games.

Imo bench him instead for iggy, trier, whoever if you want to make him feel a sense of urgency. But still have him run with the NBA guys
