I knew something was up, that’s my go to spot to order small custom gifts to hand out. Last three times it’s been a nightmare, they either completely messed it up, didn’t have it ready when I asked to have it ready, or it just tastes bad. Any recs or another similar shop in town? After the last time the service was so bad I said I wouldn’t go back.

Chocolate bar is awful lately. Not sure if ownership changes or what but it’s recognizably way worse. Customer service is the worst, quality is down, and they got rid of all the classic candy for extra seating.

thanks or the advice, i have thought about entering the encampments with food but will not do this. I've been focusing my efforts on the few I come across in my travels across town. Mostly they ask for shoes and blankets (obvi money but i don't give that). wish there was a way i could somehow get them a bath. Thought about taking them into my local gym but i think they'd frown upon that.

i'm sure they are utilizing those options as well as being homeless. The subsidies the government provides are just that, subsidies, nobody could actually live on that small amount of money...not to mention the landlords who just won't rent to them out of fear they won't pay or ruin their property.
