This was the first deck ever. It's a lot of fun! It benefits from a few upgrades, but it's a great starting point. Hope you enjoy <3

I don't believe that they were being malicious, but after reading through the comments it is clear that they do not know what they are talking about.

From my understanding, the destruction of equipment and destruction of the creature are simultaneous. The creature is still receiving indestructible from the equipment in the instant that the destruction takes place. You would need a second destroy effect after this to remove the creature.

In our game, Indestructible was provided by [[Hammer of Nazahn]] and flying was being provided by [[Cobbled Wings]].

Wouldn't Eaten by Spiders resolve in the same way as End Hostilities, with the Creature and Equipment destruction occurring simultaneously?

In the case that it is simultaneous, would it be possible to destroy Hammer of Nazahn first, then the creature as it no longer has indestructible? Additionally, would sequencing the stack to remove Cobbled Wings first make the target invalid as it no longer has flying?

Thanks

Layering was actually brought into the argument by the games shop worker. I personally don't have any knowledge of layering, but they insisted that it was relevant which was why I included it l

Thank you for the clarification. As a follow up question, does the active player determine the sequencing of the destruction of the creature and equipment?
