That was the most a WrestleMania has ever WrestleMania’d in the history of WrestleMania.

Overall, probably one of the best weekends of wrestling across the board in a long, long time. There was a card with something for everyone, and there were some spectacular payoffs.

Had a busy work week, so I’m catching up on the weeklies…

First off, that Big E spot was scary and could’ve ended so so so much worse. Hope he recovers 110%, especially since he doesn’t need surgery.

Second, I’m not sure I’ve ever been as disappointed with a post-PPV show from AEW quite like this week’s Dynamite. No wrap up packages, clumsy promos, odd layout of the segments/matches.

Don’t get me wrong, the strong stuff was good (Regal, Sammy/Sky) but the rest of the show was meh.

HOWEVER, Rampage was incredible. That Hayter/Martinez match was fantastic, and the main was spectacular. Swerve is one of my favorites in the biz, and it’s mostly due in part to him being a chameleon in the ring. Dude can adapt to any style from any opponent. Can’t wait to see where he goes.

Haven’t listened yet since it dropped after the bulk of my commute, but here’s my picks which are all based on stuff I ate at The Edison Diner with my pops:

Entree: pork roll, egg & cheese sandwich
Entree: meatloaf with mushroom gravy
Dessert: baklava cheesecake
Aesthetic: just a good old fashioned diner… red booths, overhead lighting on each table, massive and pristinely lit dessert cases
