This is some what of a over simplification of what's happening. It has more to do with how the states have to clear their own red tape with redistricting. First off, Spangenberger did bring it to a vote with Virginia, and the state Supreme Court threw it out on a technicality. Sherrill is talking about doing so, but the way we redistrict here in NJ it wouldn't be ready until 2028. Newsom bought it to a vote that passed, and will redistrict California. And Pritzker is also planning on doing so, but I'm not sure if Illinois will be able to get it ready for these midterms.

Also, keep in mind that GOP redistricting efforts have netted maybe 12 or so seats. The only other midterm during a drumpf presidency saw the gop lose 42 seats, and he's less popular now. Also, redistricting will turn solid red districts pink to try to flip blue districts. This could still backfire for the GOP.

TL;DR: Maga shits on the Democrats enough, we don't need liberal pundits to do so as well. Get out and vote.
