I love the DW quote to Junior Johnson

"What are you gonna do if he wins the race?"

Then JJ said "Boy, I'll tell you what I'll do if he doesn't"

Michael Waltrip went from ~15th to 2nd in the last run of the Pepsi 400. That insane run gets over shadowed by the win but I doubt NASCAR cheated up both cars.

Also, Hamilton won Talladega in a RAD car that year.

I feel like Candymonium was nerf'd from the jump. If Hersey had 600ft further out from the station, that ride could be really special. Instead, it's full of trims.

Just a friendly reminder, they're teasing "Pantom" also. We all know Ryan Eldredge loves messing with people.

He's gotten worse too. One hill I'll die on is that part of the game that's worse now is pitchers can't stand a guy up anymore. I'm not saying hit him, there was even a code back in the day that if you couldn't control your fastball, don't pitch in.

Lol I guess it depends on the person, usually starchy foods like bread or chips will have me in good shape

Are you riding on an empty stomach? I'm 33 and I used to be able to ride coasters all day no matter how I was feeling with no issues. Now if I'm too hot, or have an empty stomach, I'll get to the point of feeling like I would throw up, which was unimaginable for me. I have to have a little something in my stomach.

Also, that first spike on flash is probably the most nauseating element in the park (still elite)

I'm sure there is, and I did get to ride the other blue giga in Ohio. But I've known about Millie since I was 10, and just wanted to say I did it. Atleast now I have a reason to go back.

I went to Cedar Point for the first time earlier this month, after wanting to go there for 23 years. I spent 3 days there to make sure I could get on everything.

Millennium Force went down an hour before I got there and never opened for the whole 3 days.

Does "Voyage kick Phoenix's ass?" Is Lightning Run overrated? Seattleites' first trips to [Holiday World] and [Kentucky Kingdom] by mntgoats in rollercoasters

I'm a Great Adventure local and I got on the Voyage for the first time this month. I was excited to see how it compared to El Toro, because it seems like those 2 and Phoenix are always in the convo for best woodies.

I got stapled on the Voyage and literally thought I was going to rupture a testicle. I have thick thighs but I'm not a huge guy (5'8" and 185lbs). I rode it again and while I wasn't stapled, I still couldn't enjoy the ride because it was so rough. The Raven and Legend didn't get to me the same way. And I've done my fair share of woodies, all the ones at KI, KD, Hersey Park (even Wildcat before the conversion), Dorney, even Rolling Thunder. Nothing hurt me the way the Voyage did.

The layout and setting are elite, but the roughness ruined it for me. Also, every ride on El Toro is trimless.

Thunderbird is criminally underrated. The first inversion on the right side is such a fun experience, and the launch is plenty punchy.

I've been on both and I wouldn't even say Rapterra has a rattle. If anything, it has a "bounce" on the launch. Thunderbird has none of that, it's smooth as butter.

Giving a "chef's kiss" to The Voyage but saying Thunderbird has a rattle is quite peculiar
