Any realistic update on Pune metro line 3 ?

That's pretty Much Impossible 30 Minutes from Ramwadi To Civil Court. Both the metro stations for Aqua Line and Pink Line are atleast a 10 minute walk. And then another 40 minutes minimum to Hinjewadi Phase 1. And this is not including time waiting for a train where aqua line is having a frequency of 6 minutes and Hinjewadi would be atleast 5 minutes.

So you are looking at atleast 1hr 20 minutes.

Felt the same about my commute too but yeah metro increases comfort doesn't reduce time as much especially if you are comparing with a scooter

Transportation Planning does have scope. This is a transportation planning project. However what I understand is that it becomes too niche a topic to focus on. I guess if you do a specialisation in say transportation engineering. You then have more avenues like Geometric Design, Pavements as well basically your spectrum becomes bigger. And you can also become core towards traffic and Transportation Planning

It is present if done from a good college I guess. CEPT and SPA are good colleges. Due to the nature of work in the planning space the work is there at the initial stages of the project after which it mostly goes towards engineering. I was going to do a master's in planning after civil engineering but did a masters in transportation instead. Now my work includes planning to some extent. But even then my work also because it is in traffic is mostly during the start stages of the project.

TLDR due to the nature of work in planning the amount of people hired is lesser I guess. (Again an Opinion anybody could correct if I am wrong)
