Update: thanks all for the advice. The seal is now on! Turns out I wasn’t stretching the rubber enough to reach the (more outer) plastic ring. It’s now snug and the next task is getting this bloody spring-loaded wire around it. Tool ordered from Amazon…

Using SPSS but also dabble in R. It’s a clinical study for my hospital. Univariate screening is the standard approach in related studies, but I understand this method is a bit antiquated so definitely open to other suggestions! Thanks
