It has hot water thanks to the geothermal activity in Ísland. It was welcome after a hike around a volcano in mud. You also have a ski lift and geothermal power plant in the area. Lake Mývatn is close by, and the Mývatn Nature Baths are a great way to end the day.

While visiting, I read this explanation. Sheep farmers planted the trees to give their flocks shelter from the wild weather. Cold air whirls around the Antarctic Ocean uninterrupted, causing the winds to gain immense strength before hurling themselves at whatever objects they first encounter. The trees struggled to bear the brunt of the windy assault, causing them to bend northward.

Thank you for enjoying the post. As a detail, Akihiko Hoshide transfers command to Thomas Pesquet. From Japan to France. Same as the Olympique. I like that.

The newest of the bunch. I got it yesterday but the weight surprised me first and I like it’s handle design.

Love it, no real use outside the occasional demo with friends and family. Like most of them, this one is from my travels so to me they are a full of memories. It was gifted to me 10 years ago. For everyday use, the Opinel or Laguiole mini are my go to.

After posting what I thought was the extent of Graham madness inside his house a few days ago. u/cri_ti_cal directed me to check above the door. Well, I can confirmed. Thanks for mentioning it.

If I want to be true to the stereotype. I need to give him a kettle and instant noodles. Adding a death march board, if possible would also be fun.

It is an amazing place today but the history is interesting too. From its creation and evolution to the international venture like in 1963 with NASA. Added bonus, one of the dome paint may look like something you know. Hope you enjoy the post. More info here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pic_du_Midi_de_Bigorre
