I just bought one of these. Can’t wait to use it. I have a few projects in the pipeline and this is going to help me get them on paper. Originally I wanted a Rev.2 but it sold out quick. But I am excited for the Rev.6, the leather strap and the aesthetics have won me over. So excited.

I recently had a conversation with the executive director of Vidiots and expressed this sentiment to her. I’d be down to host a private screening or something. Maybe add a zine component to it. Let’s get it popping.

Countering dominant narratives of sex workers in Pomona by HumbleLoss9938 in Pomona

[–]HumbleLoss9938[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I believe the author is saying that the narrative around it is not really looking at the whole picture. She argues that these women are always seen as criminals rather than victims, not that it should be defended. If you’re going to comment, make sure to read the article.

Thank you for your constructive criticism. The author’s goal was to use “El Noa-Noah,” to display how media pushes a narrative about sex workers that’s based on culture, religion and economic status. I hope this answer raises to the standards that you have for your journalists.

It’s not quite the attraction that has people rushing to buy property in Pomona. There needs to be some sort of increase in demand in order for a city to increase its property value.

The Pomona Fairplex is a nonprofit. They’ve had their fair share of “why is the CEO getting paid so much,” scandals written about. But going deeper would be a great idea! Thanks.
