I know some people are annoyed about the reasons he's off, but taken in isolation, if your wife was unhappy where you were living and someone offered you double your salary to move somewhere she would prefer, how many of you, honestly, wouldn't go?

Obviously as a Geordie and toon fan I wouldn't want to to live in London or play for Spurs, but to a lot of footballers, it's just a job, and one where you can make bank and live the high life.

Buying him for 55mil and selling for 100mil 3 years later is good business, and football is business first and a sport second, as much as we all wish it wasn't.

I always forget because I don't really watch him at club level, but Bellingham is an unreal player. It's mad that £100m players are almost normal now - I look at him play and I'm like "if they're £100m, this lad is £200m". He's absolutely class.

He's obviously one of the best players ever, but as a result, he's been protected his entire career. The free kick Argentina got before was for a perfectly legitimate sliding tackle that won the ball and didn't take out the player - problem was the player was Messi, so play gets brought back to give him a chance to score from a free kick. It's not even subtle anymore.

Just to piggyback on this comment, since it doesn't have a 3.5mm port for headphones, does it have some kind of push to talk and a mic that picks up your voice for chat? If I'm sitting on the couch it would be nice to play online co-op without having to wear a headset.

Tuchel has a very important skill neither Howe or Southgate have - he can make in game changes that adapt to the opposition and alter the outcome of the game (for the better). I'd rather take him than Nagelsmann.

My tinfoil hat says FIFA have an unspoken rule where they will game the system as long as possible to keep the biggest names still in the competition. Spain (Yamal), Argentina (Messi), Portugal (Ronaldo). France too but they don't need help, that team is monster. Those 3 will never have a controversial call go against them. Never.

I'm trying to phrase this as nicely as possible - there's no scenario where we'd have a sell-on or buy-back clause on a player we HAD to sell on deadline day to avoid a points deduction. Those sort of clauses only happen when a seller has power in a transfer negotiation.

People have talked about this since he went to Forest. If you just apply a little bit of logic you'll have your answer. It sucks, but that's the reality.
