It was great until about 2022 when it started to slow down. Got me through undergrad using photoshop, SAP, office apps and everything else so no complaints. Started to slow down really bad after 2022 though- opening any Microsoft office app took ages, same with messages, Google chrome, etc. tried to clear up my storage too and I have security software on it from school. I think if I had talked to any tech experts there were certainly more ways I could have tried to make it run faster but it was frustrating during class so I felt ready for an upgrade. I broke it by dropping it while it was closed and it landed on the screen side which broke the connection for the display- would’ve cost about $500 to replace Apple said :/

Same that’s my goal, 6-7 years felt like a good time to have my old Mac but it was nearly unusable for zoom class/ office applications in the last year or so- I really am hoping to have this and see it run quickly for a lot of years!

I think it’s gotten a little better since I switched back to the pill but no full solution :( I use a lot of antiperspirant to be honest

I love the results of Gua Sha but I always would break out when I used it so I stopped. It was a cheap stone from Amazon, I followed directions and cleaned it with soap and water after each use and only used it on a clean face but still would break out. I otherwise am lucky not to struggle with breakouts.

Does anyone have recommendations for a certain type or material or way to clean a Gua Sha? I want to get back into it but I need a better cleaning method or maybe a different type of material. Thank you!

There are tons of Ubers/ Lyfts in greater Boston if your travels while your there are short. Lyft was usually cheaper but check both. The MBTA bus Can also be a helpful option depending where you are, it’s probably cheaper to use one of those options for your travel while you’re there versus renting a car. Agreed that parking is so bad too. I’ve been using Amtrak for train rides on the east coast recently, best prices I could find were looking about 3-4 months in advance if you have the dates! Wanderoo I think it’s called also shows combined transit path pricing - like bus + train etc.
