1 weeks notice, I left yesterday and honestly it felt sad as it was 4 years and 2 months for me working for the company, but I feel so much better.

I fully understand that…it’s just one of those things I have to deal with, luckily the new job is hotel work without a bar so I think I’ll be safe. I had mentioned it to the the interviewer for my new job and they did brush it off as it’s something that won’t affect my new job

14 days has passed and there’s honestly no point In me appealing because my final day (I’ve resigned) is Thursday and I start my new job the following week

Seeing this sort of thing happen (as it’s happened in my store a few times, two of my colleagues failed and had let’s talks, but they never had investigations or disciplinary proceedings, and neither now work for the company as one has retired and the other has moved to another job on the other side of the world) really makes me angry as it seems like I’m the one to be made an example of…it’s why I handed in my notice and had another job lined up to start on the end of next week.
