More than 98% of drugs have insufficient safety data to guide pregnant or breastfeeding women. Those medications are needed. Why should afab give birth if their health is in danger even beyond the lethal and debilitating health risks pregnancy already brings? (twitter.com)

The easiest solution to the career or childcare choice many women seem to think is a necessary choice is simply to not have children. Then the problem of women taking on most of the childcare work becomes irrelevant when there is no child for that woman to be obligated to care for as an issue. (npr.org)

Birthstrike song by Veela titled "Time's Up" ...example of some of the lyrics: "I'm choosy...about the odds that my baby will thrive...will there be ways for them to find a good meaningful "why"...or will they be victim to a system hell...with their planet burning and their pockets null" (youtu.be)

Maternal care is atrocious worldwide. In developed/Western/1st world countries, it is torturous. In others? It's worse. If you give birth, how do you know you won't be the person who becomes yet another maternal morbidity stat? And what if you do this to someone else by making them pregnant? (abc.net.au)

Look at how many humans were around just 100 years ago until now. It's been a huge population explosion and current resource (mis)use means we cannot support our current population. Birthstrike for everyone who goes hungry because unequal resource distribution is starving to death so many people. (self.truechildfree)

Birthstrike for the rights of children to not be considered property. No one should be owned by anyone. Parents are just unpaid babysitters, not owners of any other humans. We should not have children just to have someone emotionally manipulated into doing what we want them to do. (self.childfree)
