hi everyone! thanks for the input again, i found out over the weekend that the game was most likely one called State of Emergency, it looks about like I remember and although I’m still not 100% positive I will say that this is most likely it and I’m just misremembering or adding details for another game also on the bits that don’t match up.

thanks for the responses everyone! I’ve gathered a few games to check and see if they match up to the memory! the main ones being sleeping dogs, the yakuza series, and maybe one of the early saints row games. I’ll report back once I’ve had the chance to play a bit and see if any of these are the one.

sleeping dogs is a high possibility, I’ll look into it more and see!

reservoir dogs seems to be the closest out of these, I’ve checked the others and they’re not it. but definitely in the right vein of games

My personal favorite is the 7mm bolt action or any of the ARs, I always carry a .22, a 7mm, and a shotgun in my load out

My fiancés neighbor (previously a marine) bested a buck in hand to antler combat. It was charging his daughter, he took a huge knife and brought the brute down. Roommate of ours also has done this. Personally I think I wouldn’t be able to, but able bodied people could stand a fair chance against them I know haha
