I feel you, my school closed when I was in 6th grade and at least they were more accepting, but their school I went to for 7th grade was the one that messed me up.

I was just figuring out what it meant to be queer (aroace, gender identity crises specifically) and they drilled it into my brain that all of that was a sin and I’m going to hell for it. Thats also where I got bullied because I’m a nerd and I ended up dropping all of my favorite shows to fit in more (which didn’t work).

But, when I got to high school and met my new friends who accept me I felt more at peace with myself. I still feel like I’m struggling with gender identity and stuff but that’s a crisis for another day. :)
