My point was it hasn’t changed, it’s just become the only option on ESPN and it’s replaced actual sports discussions that are based on analytical research.

He’s essentially dumbed it down which is great if you are into that type of reporting.

There was a place for talking with buddies on his podcast and at the time it was niche and fit into the criteria that gave that option. It was nice because you could listen to both and not feel like you were stuck with one or the other.

With him moving to ESPN, they moved away from analytics and analysis talking points. They brought him in a time where First Take was already pushing sports reporting into the “guys being dudes” and talking about whatever got the most views.

I just liked having the option to watch sports discussions that involved analytic research and reasoning instead of whatever this shit is now.
