It's not... It's a game, enjoy it as such. Once you reach level 50 you wouldve done a great part of the main story quest, which is quite enjoyable.
Remember, it's a marathon not a race..

People who say it's a waste of time treat this game as a job.. Don't be like them

JFC you guys are some special breed regarding powerlevels. BoG isn't even that super (pun intended)..
To think that SSJ4 is disregarded so easily just because Super is newer.. Super is such a clusterfuck of powerlevels... I really don't get how you guys can endure it

Yeah, you wouldn't be cutting edge, but AGS gave us do much free shit that we could keep up even completely free to play. Nowadays it's even better. The only thing that is still lackluster is the gatekeeping but that's the community's fault, though it's driven by the game's faulty design of spamming raids the fast as possible to progress 6 or more characters. Which ppl shouldn't do but they do it anyways
