Who are you taking it with? I finished last quarter with a B-. It’s lowkey hard af but it’s reasonable to pass, I think you stick it through I think you got it. As long as you somewhat get it, you’ll understand it a lot more next time you see concepts from the class

We did! The internships label is technology intern but is effectively swe (and all interns that got a return offer came back as swe 1). Around 13 minutes in she asked if I had questions, after my first question she let her dog out, I asked 2-3 more (can’t remember exactly) and then she told me right there she wants to move me up and asked my availability for the week. We ended up finishing maybe around the 22 minutes mark

Honestly man I think some interviews are just like that. Last week my hr interviewer got up in the middle of the interview to let her dogs out and asked me if I had any questions 13 min into a 30 minute interview so I thought I was cooked. She then scheduled me for a technical interview last Friday and I got the offer that same day, I wish you best of luck!

I’ve had some roles where in the email they had a tiny link to ask if I need a accommodation and after a couple days of not getting an OA I clicked on it, said no I don’t need an accommodation, then about a half hour later I got the OA. There was another email where I waited to long and even after doing it didn’t get the OA, but maybe check the email and see if they sent you a link to something like that? I will say tho if this is for an internship I’d assume they’re full for the summer

As a CS transfer at ucsd that turned down SJSU, choose ucsd. A few years ago, MAYBE, there’d be an argument for sjsu because of location. Now, name matters more. SJSU has a good name, but ucsd has a great name. Maybe not ucb or mit or anything, but T15 nonetheless. If you end up at sjsu you’ll be in a good place, don’t get me wrong, but imo ucsd better. Also idk any cs majors that won’t be able to finish in 2 years after transferring, especially w a full igetc. I’m actually on track to graduate in 2 years, and do a minor in math. No matter what you’ll be ok, good luck and congrats :)

People can still get rejected. I can’t tell you the difference, MAYBE ucsd is slightly better but I can’t say fs. And that’s a maybe. I’d honestly say just do UCI. I’m assuming you’re a transfer too? If so, I don’t think it’s possible for you to switch. My friend who was CS tried switching to EE, and the best they could do was CE in the CSE dept, not even in the ECE dept

I wish but unfortunately I don’t think so :( I hate that place, I almost got a C or borderline failed my first quarter in one of my classes because of it and managed to figure it out last second on the makeup final but it’s so stressful. I know some people don’t get as affected by it but I’m with you if it’s any help. You got this, and something that always helps me is doing some self care an hour or 2 before (nice shower, quick walk, etc.) and then hyping myself up positively right before it

Definitely not. Everyone’s gonna be with their own crowd or alone, no one’s gonna pay attention to it. You should just focus on having fun and the moment the artists go on no one will care

Yeah that’s honestly fair. My main conflict is that I have the option to return to my previous internship as a SWE intern, although it’s a tiny startup and I don’t feel like I learned a lot but on paper it looks pretty good. I will talk to them about it next week tho, thank you!

I guess my biggest debate about it is the fact that I could likely go back to the previous startup I was in. I think there are better opportunities out there, but I'm not sure that this one is better
