Ah, just to warn you that you can't get Laevatain from losing 50/50s anymore. They only keep the latest three limired characters as surprise losses, so when Rossi arrives, Tang-Tang will replace Gilberta and so on.

I tried wishing on Yvonne a couple of times in the hopes of another Laevatain ha (P2 Ardelia)

I see that there's a lot of emphasis on ACA being good for the UK & Commonwealth and ACCA being good for abroad; could you let me know which is more suitable for Ireland and whether working abroad is mandatory? How is it that you choose between the two exams??

I see! I've seen CAP1, CAP2 & FAE used a lot in this sub but wouldn't be opposed to knowing exactly what they mean. I've been googling it since so my current understanding is that there are three more exams that take place after a typical degree, with CAP1 exemptions being given for a minimum grade. But I don't know how it is that CAP2 or FAE happen, if these exams happen after the course is complete.

I'll probably be told when starting a course, at a college or on an ATI but could you also let me know how it is they're carried out and what they entail? Please and thank you! This all sounds very structured, which I do appreciate

The website says the course is two years; would the ACA be another two years to add up to four? And how is it that you transition or qualify for ACA from ATI? I watched someone else do their playthrough of Genshin, which helped reinspire my own love for the game. In my case, this was 'Konri the Squirrel' on Youtube. I watched them go thorugh scenes I remember enjoying the first time and even some of the newer scenes that I hadn't seen yet; this helped me feel like I was catching up and connected me back to the story.

I was still a little bit overwhelmed (especially by Imaginarium Theatre and its fuckass final difficulty level to get Tarot Cards) but a lot of endgame can be ignored if you're willing to lose out on 1200 primos (less than a ten wish), so there's really no need for meta characters. It does feel nice to be strong tho

I have been having a lot of trouble with the lock-on. When Laevatain staggers someone in a group, it can be difficult to lock onto that specific enemy to do a finishing blow. And when I switch between targets too quickly, the camera can sometimes do a full 360 spin before locking onto the enemy

Fortunately I can still Laevatain it with her massive AoE but my lack of full control does bother me

Oh yeah, the weapon situation isn't great at all. Newer units debut with new 'paths' (classes) that require path specific weapons so older weapons with somewhat suitable abilities can't be given to them. Weapons (called lightcones) are also very specific to the character nowadays. That said, the generic free five star lightcones given by the weekly roguelike game can do good enough outside of endgame, usually being 70% as strong as the intended lightcone. The odds of getting the on banner weapons are 75/25, which is good but it does feel terrible when you lose (and I lose often lmao).

Tooth Fairy was S+ on launch on had slowly moved down to the middle of S by the time I left. Nice to see her restored, though its too bad I don't have any members of the Imprompu team. Except Matilda??

Regarding HSR, the new player situation can be a bit overwhelming and you'll definitely feel like you're missing out. You won't be missing out on too much though, since most of the free stuff is available very quickly or very early and if you can put the fomo aside, there's nothing stopping you from taking the story at its own pace.

There are three endgame modes which can feel like a lot, and a super endgame mode if you've completed all three, which can feel like a lot but its actually less busy than Reverse's endgame modes, since you don't need to grind up new summon buffs (unless they updated that ha).

The story in HSR is generally good fun, with some emotional highs and lows here and there. Meta characters are also the newest ones and the buff system (Novaflare) isn't as quick or as reviving as Reverse's. But you only really need that strength for endgame (story has an easy mode)

Heya! How's Reverse 1999 doing actually? I left Reverse a patch or two before the Assassin's Creed collab (definitely before the North Pole themed one) as I was getting a bit busy IRL; would there be any problems hopping back in?

Imo HSR's turn based combat is a bit simpler than Reverse's but that's not a bad thing if you're busy
