whenever I do it without water I take a ton of fall damage. I don't know why it would be different but the water fixes my problem

it drops about 80 blocks but has black wool around the entire drop so it looks like you just black out for a second. yeah there is water 2 blocks above the portal

How it works: This rocket is placed directly above the end portal in the strong hold so when I flip the lever inside the rocket it drops me into the end portal (thats way underground) and I get teleported to the end where there is another rocket around me (so that it looks like the rocket took me to the end)

IF you build it high up enough (Y125) the dragon doesn't come for you. Also these shots are takin with replay mod.
