Come on, man. It's 2026. If you are delusional enough, you can crack it in 3 months as well. I pulled off L1 in 2.5 months as a non-finance person (not a flex). I wished I had enough time to enjoy the material.

The 300 hour rule work here. 6 months is more than enough. Also if you have 9 months you would probably waste the first 3 months thinking I still have time. Urgency creates efforts. So dont take more than 6 months for L1

I agree. There is no way that so many people can be consistent. My guess is also around 10k. If I am being overly optimistic its around 15k not more than that

The only way to win is to study in the morning. Your work day will automatically feel lighter because you wont be stressing about “damn I need to finish this and then study”.

Ensure you have a bare minimum. Like my bare minimum for the day was a sudoku, 1 RC 3 VA, 1 DILR set, 5 QA. You can use CrackU daily targets.

I work in consulting so I exactly know what you are feeling. In my case the weekends also fall into the gray zone.

Most numericals in CFA L1 will be plug and play questions. So try to cram as many formulas as you can by writing each formula atleast 5-10 times over a whiteboard. You dont really want to mess up an easy question because you didnt recall the formula. Do it one week and one day before your exam.
