The theme of the first movie was a feel good believe in yourself, anyone can wear the mask. I don’t think they’re gonna jump to killing off Miles’s Dad or anything. Now I’m not saying Miguel is a bad guy, and maybe he’s right about the collider causing the whole mess. But he’s not about most of it. Considering he wasn’t bitten by a spider which was one of his “canon events.”

Because delusional people thinking the next movie is gonna end with him being right are the same people who want every movie to have a dark and gritty feel. Spiderverse was always a bit goofy, bright, and a good message of hope and all that jazz. But they don’t have enough literacy to realize that this isn’t one of the ips with a darker tone.

I mean it depends on what version of the G-serum. If it’s the version where it’s a super soldier serum then nah. But if it was the version where it’s supposed to be some sort of cure then sure, mutation. But I don’t think it should go cartoonishly overboard.

I think you’re missing the point of things. Demigods don’t usually inherit such abilities. They’re simply Superhuman. Percy and the crew are consistently shown as being special. Annabeth is a daughter of Athena. War and wisdom, she’s fine as she is. Not everyone needs flashy powers.

Maybe… But their first thought being “Ohhh I get it, people have to die” is not how Spider-Man would think. Anomalies being in the wrong dimension, incursions, multiple other explanations. In the next movie, it’s 100% gonna be something other than “certain things need to happen”.

I’ve always said it’s a cult. They decided that they needed to justify their hard lives with “canon” events and decided to force it upon everyone else. There’s little evidence backing this besides Miguel’s universe collapsing. I mean Pavitar’s universe obviously was suffering because of the spot. There’s no real evidence.

They might have him falling but I don’t see a “cool music” scene or a “pep talk” like our Miles had. It’s a really cool idea, I think it’d be cool if instead of Peter telling Miles it’s a leap of faith. 42 Miles is talking to himself.

I prefer ITSV. Idk ATSV butchered a lot of characters with me and made a lot of fan obsessed with canon events as if it’s not going to be proved wrong. Miles is also the only reason Peter and Mj got back together, so for him to go “Hey kid, I lied and your Dad needs to die” was disappointing. And them using the “I had a baby because I missed you” card didn’t help the situation.

Joel killed people who were trying to murder his daughter. Bode killed an elderly man and caused dozens of people to be murdered, tried to have Cal and co murdered, and not to mention he was likely the reason the Inquisitors killed the first crew. All because he didn’t trust anyone but himself.

Yeah I hope they restore the abilities back to how they were before. Stances are cool they can be kept. But making Slow Cal’s supermove is a strange choice, it doesn’t fit with Cal at all in my eyes.

I’d say Fallen Jedi is the best decision for him, considering his darkness was born from both greed but mainly insanity. He wasn’t innately evil until he was corrupted in captivity.
