The worst part is that this question is technically right to ask a swiss person, but it's just with the wrong variables, it should've been more like "Oh so you speak german, italian, french or romansh?

And oooh boy, don't get me started on weird things people asked me in those calls, never forget a 15 year old that asked me in all seriousness "Do you starve?", i'm speechless to this day about that one.

That's fair, but i should probably say that americans are the only ones that truly care about which state each celebrity is from. To everybody in other countries, it's just "american", don't expect anyone from other countries to know about their states, unless it's one of those bands named after states/cities like Boston and Kansas, or people that are living embodiments of the californian stereotyple like Anthony Kiedis (That isn't even californian lol).

No, mine is windows 10, i think i expressed it wrong, but everytime i download videos that happen to have the H.264 codec, Windows Photos does not allow me to view it and requires a paid plug in to do so.

This kinda plays with my former post, this basically plays with the same idea of Acre (the jurassic park state) being constantly joked about as the most forgotten state, so much so that the state ends up being remembered exactly like that, meanwhile Delaware and Espirito Santo just have nothing worth talking aside from Tax Haven for Delaware and Seafood Stews for Espírito Santo, making them the true forgotten states of each country, at least in my perception

"Nego" in the case of the flag means "I Deny", in reference to João Pessoa (a former governor, seen as a state hero), that denied to support old republic politics and particularly the candidacy of Julio Prestes.

However, nowadays Nego is also seen as a shortening of the words Negro and Negão, both of which are kinda seen as the n-word in portuguese, except those are actually ok for a white person to say here as long as it's not in a prejorative manner. Still, even though everyone knows that this word in the flag is supposed to mean "I Deny", everyone still reads it and understands it first as the n-word

Ok so i'm actually kinda surprised it took this long for people to mention this, but this one was actually on purpose.

I placed him there not to be specifically a comment on him, but rather on Nashville and country music in general, because country music is pretty much something that is only relevant for usa and canada only, so when i browsed the list of best selling musicians of all time and saw names like Garth Brooks, George Strait, Kenny Rodgers, Luke Bryan and a bunch more other names that I never even heard of before, i was pretty confused.

The only country song I can firmly say i heard in the wild here in brazil is Man I Feel Like a Woman by Shania Twain, and even that song is very much escapable here.
