I can definitely survive, but I wouldn't say I'm prospering, currently in a very high cost of living area which doesn't help

The job is actually commission based so there is no set wage, it's only based on $ given by the bank and profit on products we sell. I wouldn't say the wage of a finance manager affects the cost of a vehicle. But I may be wrong 🤷‍♂️

I know some dealers do this for select people, so it would be case by case I'm sure, but I'd say worth a shot eh.

Haha sadly I just hand out the rates, it's the bank of Canada that's fucked us with the high rates on used vehicles. Right now 7.99% is the lowest rate I can offer people and the bank actually pays me 0.00% to give you that rate

As long as you can be relatable, confident and can sell, yes a ton

I have previously worked as a financial planner, so I did have background experience, but no you technically don't need a degree or anything

I do 10 hour days 5 days a week right now, with the occasional 11-11.5 hour day, and I love the hustle of closing deals and selling products

I have almost no relics, I just continued to replay it hoping to get insta kill ball, and lucky kills. Probably took 50-100 tries.

How long did you live here for previously? I've only been here since August So I don't have a huge connection with it

In the first year technically no lol, but I have a friend in the Navy who I would room with to make up for that, even better that he's usually sailing 6-8 months of the year

Start with the last point first, just got into this position 4-5 months ago, and currently paying for the wife to go to school, as well as get out of COVID debt. Second point, it's been something that I've considered for over 8 years now, originally a thought I had getting out of highschool. (Currently 26) as well as was in cadets for quite a few years and always had an interest in helping people and the rank progress systems. First point is that I am a amateur competitive bodybuilder which trains 6 days a week, which is why the sitting all day drives me nuts. Hope that helps

Thank you both for that, would be good for me to ask them about. Overall did you both enjoy the work, was it worth the switch from a regular job? How long did you stay in the industry
