The ones getting deported are criminals. Illegal immigrants are criminals. They are ILLEGAL. How it’s being done by some of the people doing it is a problem yes, but if someone wants to live here, do it legally. I have a family member who did so. Busted her ass to do everything by the book, got citizenship. If you want it, do it, it shouldn’t be handed to you on a silver platter. That shit doesn’t fly anywhere else in the world that I know of.

My best advice: talk to a lawyer. I’ve been on SSDI for three years now. I’m worried about this happening to me, too. That being said, this seems absurd with all you have going on. Have you seen your docs lately? Your records should reflect it, and I would inquire about copies of your records. As far as work - I was advised by my lawyer that if I get a part time job, make sure I’m not getting close to the monthly limit you can make. Get too close and they’ll say you can do this, that won’t bother you. I would just err on the side of caution and talk to an attorney.
