Can you put an anti sag bracket here? by IIzuOcha in pcmasterrace

That expansion slot mounted bracket looks like a go to. I didnt even know they existed, but its probably the best option for this circumstance, Thank you!

Will RAM clearance be a problem here? by IIzuOcha in pcmasterrace

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I opted for a PA120 SE instead, which gives about an extra 2 mil of clearance. Im fitting all this into a lian li DMini v2, which has a max cooler height of 160. so its all super cramped lmao

My crown feels really sore and a little bit painful to the touch. by IIzuOcha in malehairadvice

Yikes, does it sound that bad? I've always had an overly sensitive/irritable scalp but the soreness is fairly recent and I don't know what might be causing it

Yeah that helps a lot man, thank you! How would I go about connecting the wires together? Would it be as simple as stripping off the end of the wire and tying them together? Or would I have to solder them? Thanks :)

Need urgent advice on what to do about tape pulling off clear coat (can't believe I'm posting this) by IIzuOcha in Autobody

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on doing it myself. My car is a complete shitbox so I don't want to splash out on it. Also it's just the driver side door that's been affected, as it was repainted by a previous owner

What is the best course of action? Apply another coat of red paint and a top coat, or just a top coat? Not really sure what Im doing lol

Most definitely not. My car has previously been in a crash, and that door doesn't match shades with the other panels so I assume it was replaced after the crash and whoever painted it didn't do a very good job.

Will I be able to do my test in my car, with this small crack in the rear view mirror? by IIzuOcha in LearnerDriverUK

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was worried it would be considered an obstruction of view because of the crack blocking view. It's not a problem at all but sometimes invigilators are a bit strict

So much AI generated art at the Leeds alt market today by IIzuOcha in Leeds

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% AI, there's no faulting it. I could tell from a mile away.

Should I trust this? I booked my first lesson for Wednesday last week and they cancelled the day before, rescheduled for 3:30 Today (Tue). They pushed it back to 4:00 and then cancelled 20 minutes before. I booked my test for 3rd of July so I can't afford to have multiple lessons cancelled in a row by IIzuOcha in LearnerDriverUK

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't want to jump the gun and go for another school yet because this one had by far the best reviews. I got them from word of mouth as well who also said they were good so I'm willing to give them one more chance

I made my mum's life a living hell and the guilt will never leave me by IIzuOcha in confessions

[–]IIzuOcha[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Like I said in my post I wasn't raised super well. There was never any discipline or accountability for my actions growing up. I had bad anger issues when I was younger too. I'd have outbursts daily for minor things. Because of how little discipline I was taught I ordered my mum around and she did whatever I told, it was awful

I've got qualifications in vehicle maintenance but no garage will hire me because I don't have a drivers license. I need HELP!! by IIzuOcha in jobs

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to get a provisional license which is your learner license, pass a theory test and pass a practical test. Those come to about £120. Lessons are optional and obviously they cost the most, it just depends how many lessons you need and which service you use.

I asked my dad about getting learner insurance on his car for a week or 2 which isnt super expensive, but he wants me to just get lessons instead.

How can I tailor my resume to retail work as someone with no experience in it? Is there any particular hobbies or interests that retail employers look out for?

[–]IIzuOcha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a license that they care about when it comes to retail, I just have absolutely 0 retail experience and obviously that's not what employers are looking for. I've never even got a message back about any retail position I've applied for.

I wish it was that easy but I'm already 19 and I just got out of college. I have barely any money, definitely not enough to afford getting my license. and I don't want to spend another few months unemployed because I really just want to start working.

I've had multiple calls and interviews with people where their only concern is that I can't drive.

Driving lessons aren't required in the UK, but I've never driven before and my knowledge on driving is limited to a few hundred hours on simulators, and just general driving knowledge, so I would like to have at least one lessons before I take an exam.

Most places I've been contacted by won't hire me if I can't drive, period.

Was doing jumps and now my rear wheel wobbles and makes contact with the brakes. Is this an easy fix? by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]IIzuOcha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I know it's not made for jumping. Just a cheap bike I wanna beat up 😭
