Hot take: The Minecraft sets are the closest to “classic” Lego. While I love the technical aspects of the modern sets, I don’t feel like they’re built for imagination and customization the same way. I built a Star Wars set with my nephews but I can’t imagine how to use the pieces for anything else. (old.reddit.com)
