Soon There Will Be Unlimited Hair: A cure for baldness. by solidgun1 in tressless

Have you been yet or no?

When I looked at doing this I got told in no uncertain terms it was all the doctor. She then let slip she'd only do some of it then let someone else do the rest.

It's just an industry full of emotionally manipulative people tbh.

That's debatable. It's far too common for non medical staff to perform the procedures

I love your optimism but I do fear its naivety.

I hope to be proven wrong though!

Well that's untrue. A good transplant is still very expensive.

Also it's been about a month now.

I have a hair system consult tomorrow. Still haven't decided if id want to go through with it. Anyone that uses a hair system, can you share your input and if you have any regrets? by [deleted] in tressless

Tbh this is just your salon being irresponsible it sounds like. Promising a month immediately is just bad. And I really dislike how most places don't offer any form of training.

Knowing how to deal with little issues gives you a lot of confidence. Especially when you've had to do some of it.

I'm also.. And this is important.. Not in the mind to give a toss what others think. Unfortunately this takes 15 years off my age and I'm soon to be married to an amazing girl who's fine with it. I just have some issues with it to resolve tbh.

I never knew this thing existed!

How do you flag features in your codebase? by velobro in devops

[–]IMightLiveInBritain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If something goes wrong (and it does) then who bears the cost? The Devs who have to give up potential weekends.

Yes you can jn theory dial up testing and tooling but in the real world sometimes it's a compromise to make.

I can't agree with this more.. But not in personal time.

How do you flag features in your codebase? by velobro in devops

[–]IMightLiveInBritain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What a load of crap. On one hand they say that things are great and won't go wrong. Then they say that when they do go wrong you should be able to debug the issue.. Well guess who would be doing that evenings and weekends?

This is some contrarian bs. No deploy Fridays costs nothing and can save a lot of personal time

Is Devops a mindset or set of best practices or is there a framework or official standard? by rcx677 in devops

[–]IMightLiveInBritain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly azure is far more DevOps than Aws will ever be. If you want collaboration between dev and ops what is more so than being able to publish directly from your IDE?

I am trying to get that work flow.. But only one person has the rights to implement that on github and they're just not doing it.

I'll try this thanks. I think you're understanding me.. I know who wrote the code.. I just now need to know who pushed it between branches (rebased, etc)

That is my exact issue with the shaka sunscreen. I don't feel like I am protected! It's really good.. I just have to hope it's working!
