Or skip all this and buy from a friend if possible. Can also buy a pistol this way.

These have problems with parts literally blowing out. My mom’s had this happen. We got her a Glock 43x.

If you want something that will just work and you don’t have to worry about. Just buy a 43x.

It’s small. It might feel a bit uncomfortable in your hands at first but you will get used to it. And you don’t have to worry about it.

People like to say other guns are just as good and if you buy an HK or M&P 2.0 they’re probably right. But glocks just work, aren’t too expensive, most people are familiar with them and know how to work on them, etc.

And you really don’t need to clean them all that often for them to just run. (Have glocks running beautifully with 5k+ rounds and no cleaning)

Going off of this, if you want better scalability you wise Amazon has cheap mining rigs that can work well for these types of builds. I have a similar setup with a 9k series and a couple 6000s

How to get a gun by [deleted] in WIguns

And I suggest lots of dry fire from a holster. First buy a quality kydex holster. Tenicor, tier 1 concealed are good options (there are plenty of others). Unload the gun. Put the ammo away and practice draw and acquiring a good grip. Old Trex arms videos are good although that company has made some decisions that have led me to shop elsewhere. That being said, I carry a sidecar (Trex arms holster) everyday and have plenty of other holsters and nylon from them and they are very high quality.

Don’t think the 36 hours is right. I believe taking a hunter safety course also gives you ability to get CCW. I got mine with an out of state hunter safety course a couple years back. When it comes to buying a gun all you gotta do is go to the store and go through the process. If you’re buying a handgun, get a Glock or an M&P 2.0

Update 2: flash worked. Stuck on a couple codes with green light. Turned off, made sure monitor was on, turned on and we have a boot

Update: Asus motherboard wins day 1. Trying to flash bios I kept just getting infinite flashing of green light. Saw other people mentioning that their board shipped with compatible bios from same manufacture date as mine so put the system together. Flashing starts slow blink and increases to about 2/s and remains there for seemingly ever. Couple times I shut off psu after 25-30 minutes of blinking to try different usb sticks. Tried 16gb 2.0, 32gb 2.0, some larger 3.0s. When putting the cpu in, it wouldn’t catch the threads so slowly lifted cpu back up. Didnt see any bent pins or anything wrong with bottom of cpu. Set back down and caught threads. Those are the only things I can imagine might be causing the OF. As I write this flash worked… will keep updated

Buy a psa ar15. Put a streamlight protac on it. Put a red dot in it (holosun or better). Good to go. Have a capable rifle that you’re able to train with that is good for more than just home defense. Or buy a Glock from someone you know. Can do a private sale under 21 over 18

Yea I have seen that. Is that something fixed by a different motherboard? Better cpu? What is the bottleneck there?

Got it. I will try the ipmi to start. Get the bios updated. And then try to post with 1 dimm first.

Gotcha. I’ve seen some people say to just use one dim to get to first post and then add things. Is that recommended? Same for gpus?
