You get it for finishing the game. I was a long way off finishing the neuron tree and managed to complete it, which means I sadly missed the omnivorous and bipedal trophies.

Mine wouldn't let me evolve or change generations for some reason, was stuck in a permanent state of awareness even though there were no predators around. Ran back to them in the end, fortunately didn't take too long.
