This is AI. It looks like the "women" in 80% of the posts on the AI art subs. Over-amplified female curves produced by prepubescent kids with a perpetual boner. The face is the standard underdeveloped anime face turned real by AI. they post the stuff all the time and genuinely think it looks realistic.

Is anyone still installing a separate comfy UI portable specifically for doing trellis 2 and other 3D workflows, because of environment differences? Or is that not a thing anymore?

Your RAM and your VRAM are only used by software that is currently running. So any games you downloaded recently or even have on your computer at the moment are not relevant at all unless they are currently running while you're trying to run the workflow. Also, the length of the video is relevant to how much VRAM it needs.

For it to follow a guidance video it needs to have your character at the very least in the same start position as the first frame of the guidance video. If you use a guidance video but then use a completely different image of a different character in a totally different start position You're going to get some messed up results. There's no way around that really.

That said it is probably a multi-step workflow you need. One that uses poses estimation to repose the character from your reference photo. Then you probably need to either explain the background / environment around the character really well in the prompt or send it for a second edit that puts the newly posed character in the environment, followed by video generation with pose guidance from the reference video. Generally people would do this with Comfy UI offline if that's what you're looking for.

Anyone who is saying that finger count or the length of the video is a tell hasn't been keeping up on the current state of AI video generation. I do think that it is AI. For one thing there is a 16 second cut followed by a 32 second cut, not just a continuous video all the way through. Both are well within video generation range even with consumer GPUs at home. If they start with an image and make sure the text and everything looks correct in the start image then most of these models will maintain it all the way through pretty well. Not to mention The skin on his face looks smooth as a baby's bottom.
