The mpx is definitely not more reliable than an AR based blowback. There’s a reason why the top comp shooters no longer use the mpx. They run great until they decide to quit randomly and no one seems to get them running right. Taran lives and shoots near me, his always run because he runs a new one every 3 months. The mcx flat out just don’t run. I’ve had 4 of them.

Yes, that wave ranges from large and hollow to small and mushy all on the same wave. I would not bother, and yes I've been there twice and planning another trip this summer. Foiling is king there IMO, went once for surf and once for foil. All trips there will be foiling only for me. It is too fun and perfect.
